Many people state that they can make one million gp per hour; but is this really possible? I will show you the facts and prove if this is possible, or not. :notalk:

Many people claim that they can make 1 million gp per hour! To me, that sounds outrageous. So IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve decided to get my facts straight, and see if its this is really possible. :-k

Well letÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s start out with numbers.

 

 

 

1,000,000gp = 1hour*x

1,000,000gp = one million gp

 

1 hour = one much time it takes

 

x = Most importantly, the process

 

 

 

 

 

Lets get more advanced shall we?

 

 

 

CAUTION: INVOLVES MORE MATH!!!!

 

 

 

Step one -1,000,000 = (60 minutes * 60 seconds)*x

 

There are 60 minutes in an hour and 60 seconds in one minute

 

 

 

Step two -1,000,000 = 3600*x

 

There are 3600 seconds in an hour

 

 

 

Step three -1,000,000 = 3600*x

 

3600 3600

 

Divide one hour (3600 seconds) into 1,000,000 to find out how much gp per second

 

 

 

Step four - 278 per second = x

 

So you have to make 278 gp per second.

You cannot make 278gp per second non-stop, so perhaps you make that amount in o-say, 5 seconds?

 

 

 

Step six ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ 278*5 = x*5 which equals to 1389gp in 5 seconds (1389 = 5x {the ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâ5xÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ is doing the process 5 times})

 

 

 

Step seven ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ So what can make you 1389gp every 5 seconds? ThatÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s the question.

 

 

 

Step eight ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ Well lets try for a minutes at a time. 278(out magic number)*60

 

This equals to 16680gp per minute, which is quite exotic.

 

 

 

Step nine ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ how long will it take to make 1k? 1,000 = 278*x

Well youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve looked at it all. So then, is it really possible to make 1,000,000 gp per hour? With these facts you can decide for yourself, if itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s possible, or not.

It is actually very possible to make MORE than 1m an hour. Have you ever heard of a little thing called merchanting?

Making 1 million an hour can be done by merchanting but you have to merchant not something small like full rune but something big like 500k feathers or a rare.

Right now you are saying that it is abolutley impossible. Now, a barrows trip takes.. eem .... lets say, 15 minutes ? Now, you can do about 4 trips/h. When our favorite lady, the Lady Luck comes to play, you can have some barrows eq every trip + runes. If the equipment is little better then karils koif every trip, then it's possible to make even more GP/h. But yea, merching can get insane ammount of $$$.

The Key is: Monster Drops

 

-85 Slayer: Whips, with a bit of luck you can get SEVERAL whips per hour, now that would be WAY more than 1m an hour.

 

- Kalphite Queen Hunting, doing some math i come out, you need to get 1 chain in about 14 hour ( this includes reducing food/pots etc.)

 

This is is certainly possible...

 

 

 

There are more monsters who can make you more than 1m an hour, just giving some examples...

these are in fact not facts...you can easily just buy something for a low price and sell it for a higher price...do this enough in one hour and you can make more then 1mil...your math is faulty because you did not consider all the constants...next time think it all through.

I believe its possible to make that much double-nat crafting through the abyss with pouches too. A good crafter can do up to 30 trips an hour. With 4 pouches, you can carry 54 essence a trip. Double crafting makes 108 natures a trip. Thats about 3200 nats crafted an hour. If you sell for 330 each, thats 1070K an hour.

 

 

 

And without exceptional luck, I believe that is the only way to make 1m+ per hour using skills.

 

 

 

Next would probably be killing greens using the graveyard teleport. With stats of about 80, it generally takes me 25 seconds to kill each green. Somebody with maxed out melee stats can probably do it in 20. With 13 per trip, and say 40 seconds to run 3 levels south, duel ring to castle wars, resupply, and tele back to the graveyard, thats 5 minutes per trip. Each trip yields 52K worth of hides and bones, and with 12 trips an hour thats only 625K per hour.

 

 

 

No skill-related activity other than runecrafting beats dragons, so I think only non-skilling (merchanting, dueling, etc), creature killing with LOTS of luck, and runecrafting can make 1M+ per hour.

Well, you could be lucky and get good drops. I'm pretty sure it takes less than 1 hour to kill the Kalphite Queen, although you don't get a d chain everytime.

If you sell for 300 each, then you make about 1134K an hour. But you do need ess to start with. To buy 3780 pure ess at 100 each, that's 37.8K. 1134K-37.8K is 1096.2K. More than 1 million, it's possible...

another way is to high alch stell pl8s lol.

 

If u high alch a pl8 every 3 seconds then u could hihg alch more than 1k of them in an hour making u over 1m easy ey.(only works if u made them urself)

You didn'r consider all of the available options on how to get the 1mil an hour.

Merchanting phats (not that I even have 1) allows you to make about 20m/hr. Staking phats (if you're good) can make up to 1b/hr, but that's only for the super rich. But guess what, that's 1000 times what you're thinking of. And this has of course been posted about many times before. Also, this isn't really a guide if you're saying it doesn't work, so wrong forum.
