August 29, 200619 yr So I am obsessed with getting 61 crafting, but I am looking at a HUGE time period to get it in...with one loop hole... I can get the level by cutting 930 diamonds! :) I need help from the Tip.It Community though! I have neither 930 uncut diamonds nor really the use for them! But some of you do! If you have any number of uncut diamonds (preferably 10 or more...) then please Pm me ingame! I will speedily cut them and return them to you as soon as I can! I will stand there with you the whole time, and if I steal your diamonds, I would be losing the respect of Tip.It for a lousy amount of money! So if 100 people allowed me to cut 10 diamonds for them, I would have it. If 20 people allowed me to cut 50 diamonds for them, I would have it. 10 people with 100 diamonds...it's mine. 1 person with all 930...Hallelujiah... Note: If you are that one person with 1k uncut diamonds, I will give you 150k for your awesomeness! So please help me out! (And mods, please move this to Blogscape or some other visible forum if it is in the wrong place). My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. August 29, 200619 yr What a great idea... Curse you, I should have thought of that. Oh wait, I can do something too! Do you mind if I use your post? I also am looking for a few crafting levels, so if you have any rubies, emeralds, or sapphires tha need some handy cutting Gaia Chef is your man! PM me here or runescape, and thanks! (If you are offended by this, I'll take it down. But hey, you weren't using the other gems...)

August 29, 200619 yr spin flax..much faster then waiting for diamonds :-s Yeah, flax is ftw. I've probably spun 20k+ flax to get a few crafting levels. Another great place to powerlevel is the shade temple in Mort'ton.
August 29, 200619 yr Author spin flax..much faster then waiting for diamonds :-s 9000 flax or 900 diamonds...I will let you do the math. Also, this is free for me...and builds a little community spirit. :D My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. August 29, 200619 yr Author now, on topic. barihawk, i can offer you 1 sapphire to cut... Thanks for the offer, but the calc says that's about 1/2000th of what i need :P. August 29, 200619 yr Oh, and Freshwacka? If you do not like my idea, just leave the discussion. You have already voiced your opinion, and do not need to force it upon other people. If they are willing to help out, they can. If not, they do not have to. I'm not forcing it on anybody. I said my opinion, and I responded to him like I'm responding to you. No forcing here. 99 Crafting Blog
August 29, 200619 yr I told ya Bari, if you changed that 1200 or so seaweed to 3200 buckets of sand i could have TOTALLY hooked you up bro :P
August 29, 200619 yr Author I told ya Bari, if you changed that 1200 or so seaweed to 3200 buckets of sand i could have TOTALLY hooked you up bro :P After Hand in the Sand, I don't think either of us is totally in need of sand :P. August 29, 200619 yr Getting people to build the morton temple would be more community oriented than letting ppl get ahold of you to cut their diamonds. You really have to cut a lot of different gems anyhow, I mean who has 1k of diamonds. Thats just silly. Go get yourself the 1500 seaweed from north of relleka or on entrana and make orbs. Then make yourself some battlestaffs and some money and lots of xp. I've done it many times when it was alot harder to do cause their was no burt the sandman or house tele for relleka or extra battlestaff shop on lunar isle. Exclusive Legacy Mode Player He just successfully trolled you with "courtesy" and managed to get a reaction out of you. Lol
August 29, 200619 yr This is a nice idea (wish I had thought of it), but on one hand I kind of agree with Freshwacka here. I mean, if people want to give you diamonds so you can get a little experience then they can go ahead, but my personal belief about matters such as this, like asking friends to string Yew Longs for free for you when you can do them yourself anyways, is that it is manipulation of trust and abusing your friendships or, to put it roughly, 'power'. If you get random people to be nice enough to give you uncuts then by all means keep this going, it'd be a great and easy way to get 61 Crafting, I just personally believe it to be immoral manipulation of your fellow 'Scapers. Also, this is free for me...and builds a little community spirit. :D Please don't use that bull as justification of this idea :? . August 29, 200619 yr Author I would first like to mention that I have no power here at Tip.It. My little mask thingie gives me no rank, authority, or control over any of you. I am not a moderator. In fact, I have to stay in line and give up some of the posting rights that you guys enjoy. On top of that, I have shelled out over 2 million cash into my position in TET, and have given the TIF community tons of "Phr33 St00f." I am manipulating nobody. I am sure half the people here in this forum have never even heard of me before this. I am certainly sure that the random people I have been cutting diamonds for ingame do not know me. Skilling was never my thing. I do not have the patience or time as a full-time college student (among other duties) to go out and find 1500 seaweed and meticulously carry them back to the bank. That would take months. Nor do I have the ingame resources that many of you enjoy. I could easily buy tons of flax and craft it into bowstrings like someone else stated, but I do not have the money to spare for it. I do not see how asking to cut diamonds for people who do not have the crafting level to do it is wrong. As I see it, I am helping those people with something as well as letting out a few HYT's along the way! Also, this is free for me...and builds a little community spirit. :D Please don't use that bull as justification of this idea :? . I remember several years ago, a player came along and did this same thing, except it was giving free supplies for cakes, which he cooked and gave to Tip.Iters. He managed to get 36 cooking levels, and produced over 15,000 cakes for the TIF community. Everybody loved it. I really do not see how this is any different, except for the fact that I only want to make 14,100 items less than he did. August 29, 200619 yr I do not see how asking to cut diamonds for people who do not have the crafting level to do it is wrong. Oooooh, wait, so you're only crafting diamonds for people who don't have 43 Crafting? Okay, that's perfectly fine, nothing immoral in any way at all about that. Nontheless, I doubt many Tip.iters are under 43 Crafting, and if they are I doubt they have many diamonds to offer >_<. EDIT: ^Again, I thought you meant taking diamonds from anyone, including people with 43+ Crafting, but if you're only taking diamonds from people with under 43 Crafting then there are absolutely no problems. Btw, anyone can go around cutting people's diamonds for free, that doesn't help the community much. Now making 15,000 cakes, that is an achievement, something that takes time, something fun to bring the community together. Randomly cutting peoples diamonds when they PM you is not. August 29, 200619 yr Wow. I'm confused why so many people would even start to get worked up about someone offering a FREE service to the community. People do it for all skills and all different services so why not cutting gems? On topic: I might have several emeralds, saphs and maybe a ruby or two... sure it'll only be 1/2000th of the exp needed, but with multible gems it cuts down significantly... I might even be able to provide 1/400th the exp. :o I'll be on RS on weds. and I'll add you and see if you're on. \

I still have to say though, it'd be a rare occasion to find someone who can't cut a diamond on Tip.it, and even then it'd be very easy for them to get anyone else to do it. August 29, 200619 yr I do ahve 61 crafting and (obviously) I can cut saphs, emeralds, rubies and even diamonds! But, for the fun of joining in on something I'm going to participate. There's no harm in doing so as I have all the crafting exp I need for a while and helping can be fun sometimes. :
