Matey Posted August 31, 2006 Share Posted August 31, 2006 I was quite suprised to see a sky in one of their images. With all the recent graphics updates perhaps Jagex will add a sky to the game. I don't see the need of a sky in the game, I can't see it working very well either. Personally I think they added a sky to that pic otherwise the black background that replaces the sky would be a little dominating, and the picture wouldn't look half as nice as it does now :wink: . I don't see the need of a sky in the game, I can't see it working very well either. It would just replace the black you see when looking far away. I think it would be a nice improvement. The black sky looks odd when everything around you is bright and sunny. I like the blue sky in that picture. Especially the way it gets lighter as it gets closer to the horizon. Just like a real sky would! I think clouds would be too difficult to make in RS. Back way before rs2 came out jagex would release behind the scenes images, to show us progress on the 3d update. Just one thought... is it entirely neccessary though? Surely there wouldn't be too much opposition to them implementing this sky feature, but really, would it improve your overall enjoyment of the game?
