I've gone to see about 11 different movies this summer in the theatre and with school right around the coner I would like to share my top three.

 

 

 

1. Beerfest- WhatÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s there to say, the best guy movie this summer. The jokes were hilarious and the plot was uhh... great.

 

 

 

2. Lady in the Water- not much to say about this one but for some reason I loved it. Probably because of all the different twist and turns in the movie.

 

 

 

3. Accepted- Although I very much displease I didn't get to see a battle royale this movie great. All the humor and wittiness made this a great summer movie to see with my friends.

Beerfest was a great movie although I wouldn't make it number one.

Where my snakes at?!

Ya.. I saw Snakes on a Plane with a friend who said it would be good. That movie was one of the worst movies of the summer, along with Miami Vice.

Miami Vice truely was awful. But Snakes on a Plane just made up for all that. Boy, I loved that film lol. I was hesitant to see beerfest, might go and check it out now.

I thought Miami Vice was pretty good, as far as standard macho action movies go. Definitely wouldn't call it awful.

This summer was pretty lame. The only movie I really liked was the new Pirates movie :|

Pirates of the Carribean was awesome. So was Click. Man, Click was a great movie.

Crank tops my list right now, but that might wear off, we'll give it another week or so :)

I wasn't able to see Click and i don't remeber a Crank but Pirates was so overrated didn't seem to be that good. It was obvious Disney made it.

Crank came out last Friday, it's with the Transporter guy(Jason Statham)

Pirates of the caribbean is rediculusly over rated and so im making a silent protest by not watching it, click was an aweful movie, adam sandler is a comedian his dramatic acting just isnt up to scratch.

And their casting office needs to get a friken brain, one of the lead actress's barely spoke english, it was so difficult to understand, i could 2 out of every 3 words she said and i found myself trying to peice it together. You shouldn't have to work hard to watch a movie, you should be able to get lost in it.

 

 

 

Clerks 2 is a phenominal movie, and im eagerly awaiting the arrival of Nacho Libre to australian shores, i want some of that Jack Black random stupidity to make me want to laugh my guts out.

Lol EXACTLY!! There were some other characters that I couldn't make out what they were talking about, but the film passed me by so quick I can't even remember who they were. I swear almost everyone had some indecipherable accent, they needed subtitles or something. Meh, even if they had subtitles I still wouldn't go back to see it.

clerks 2 was pretty good. im not following your thought process though, why did you go from clerks to nacho in the same sentance? they have absolutly nothing to do with each other, except they are comedies.

Click was awful, PotC was wayyyy overrated, and The Break-up had excellent acting, but a soppy script and only a decent plot.

This has been one of the worst years for movies in memory, and boy have their been some doozies.

I'm going to watch Snakes on Plane Saturday but now I might change my mind and watch Clerks 2, anyone help me? :oops: It's my friends bday and I chose the movie so if I pick a bad one I get all the blame :cry:

It baffles me why anyone would think Snakes on a Plane is a good movie. Horribly written and plot is as dumb as it sounds.

You fail at the first hurdle. You're taking it too seriously.

Why does everything have to have a deeper meaning? Why does everything have to have a moral behind the story? Why cant it just be plain old brainless entertainment?...

Thing is that trough all the hype people aren't just judging it as brainless entertainment. Like "ooh, SoaP best movies this year! Check me out I'm so cult". Of course there's some genuine people between them, but most are like that.

 

 

 

And of course Deadman's Chest is the summer flick of 2006.
