Well it's really a matter of personal taste but I feel a lot of things looked better on RS1. Rune plates for females, for example. The old violet str potions were great. :) Runes, etc.

I remember when arrows were short, very short. Then came members and all the new types of arrows and their length extended (they were only arrows back then, not bronze etc). My friend made a fortune the day the arrows changed to bronze arrows. Many people didn't know that the bronze arrows were the same as they previously were and bought for crazy amounts.

I have a pic where there are the old short arrows on the ground lol it's on my site. What was funny was the nonexistent range "animation."

Hehe I miss the blue and green * flying through the air. When you ranged it kinda shot out of your butt... It was quite strange :lol:

Rsc was the best.... Pking in castle level 13... and pking at level 30 goblins or by axes in members pk... lol everything was better on RSC if there was another switch I would go to RSC but the community isnt big enough... i wish more people would play it =(

you all complain about clicking the rock over and over to mine, but do any of you remember click pickaxe then click the rock, for EVERY 'swing' you took at it (little bubble over youre head :D )

I can gaurentee you, if they brough back f2p, and the ability to play with a members acount (aka getting rid of the "6 month rule") I wouldnt be surprised of a few thousand flocked back to RSC

i remember when the rocks looked like that, i don't have any full screen shots, i took the backround out, i'm gonna try to dig one up though

THe thing i miss from rsc was the pictures over everyones heads that said waht they were doing or cooking. I recall the first time i played (before tutorials etc), I thought poeple were ahving conversations about those topics....

 

 

 

Anyways, I miss that. Also, in some ways, I miss the days before the fishing contest quest shortcut existed. Crossing the mountain was always an adventure, and one could almost be sure to see at leat one player death on any given trip.

 

 

 

I came back to rs2 after quitting rsc 4 years ago. The ease of leveling in rs2 is incredible. But that isnt a bad thing at all.

The people smelting at the furnace all had that bubble of ore they are smelting. If people identify you to be smelting addy, you get "Smithing lvl, ?" something like there.

 

 

 

I like the lessers back in rsc, looked pretty cool and their attack style, slash 2 times and theres a red spray of.. supposingly blood from the person attacking that lesser

i played rsc sooooo much i loved it. i started a couple weeks after scythe drop and i remember santas selling for 100k thinking that was an impossible amount of money. the thing i miss most are the sleeping bags. a noobs best friend lol soooo many stories about rsc and i remember the day rs2 came out. i bought a rune 2h for 4 gp lol didnt like rs2 one bit tho lol alot of my friends quit shortly after rs2 came out it wasnt as good..... sooooo many stories sooooo many good times.

 

 

 

any1 with any other favorite rsc items or things u could do that u cant now like trading skirts for legs at horvic's none of this zammy skirt selling for 300k less than legs

Yes it was! When you fight cows, it's head is in your *cough* nvm. :oops: The little bubble above the head was rather cool, I wish we still had that in RS2.

 

 

 

Oh and I am still a bit mad they changed the west Ardougne bank to non-stripey.
