I own a 2004 American Deluxa Stratocaster and a Gibson Les Paul Junior Special Plus .

Les pauls are cool but they're just not as good as they used to be becuase of that whole mass production thing it brings the quality way down.

Well I've got 3 Fender Strats, so I'll say Fender. However, every guitar I buy from now on will be a custom build. I'm thinking of something like Matt Bellamy's Mansons.

I like the Ibanes guitars, especially the necks. Fender strats are good, no one can deny that but they arn't anything special nowadays. I am currently the owner of a Yamaha as the Ibanez I wanted was out of my price range. So I'll vote Ibanez.

For bass the Rickenbacker 4003 own them all, for guitar maybe a custom ESP (Kirt Hammet)

I never played a guitar. And I can't hear the difference between them (as probably most people on this topic and future posters - not naming names though), but I say Schecter, because it sounds the most honest.

you should try playing the guitar.

I have a custom BC Rich..cost me a crapload, but it was worth it.

Well I like fenders but Ibanez are pretty cool, my guitar teachers son has one and yeah.. =P~ I own a Yamaha at the moment but I dont really like it =\

The only electric guitar I've ever bought is an Ibanez, and I picked it out from a selection of guitars from that range of names (as far as I know and remember); so I vote for that. Not that I'm experienced enough to really know the pros and cons of each.
