I love them. I have Break the Cycle, just bought it yesterday. I've been waiting to find an emended version of it for so long. Their new cd, V (5 in Roman Numeral), wasn't so good, the songs got old really fast. Now, Break the Cycle's "It's Been a While" and "Outside" are freakin' timeless. Tell me I'm wrong.

I gotta agree, on some levels. I really do like alot of the songs off of that CD, even though its "not my thing".

I pawned my V lol. but i must admit i bought Break the Cycle when it came out. i liek it a lot. kind of underrated.

sorry to be the negative force here, but i really dont like them, and since they are a local band where I live.... They are played EVERY HOUR!!!!!!

 

 

 

but to make it seem like i am not a spammer, i just dont like how basically all the songs are just whiney, and i dont like how he seems to try to rip off tool vocally. and such.... but I do like "Falling"...

i seriously dont see that, sadly. :-k i get why you would hate how theyre played every single hour. its like how i hate the last green day songs, they were played on every single freakin station. and i actually took ntes of how many time this ROCK station (NOT CRAP LIKE GREEN DAY) played holiday and bulivard(sp?) of broken dreams in 24 hours. lemme find the notes...

I saw them at spped street, nothing great nothing bad...

I think Break the Cycle is a pretty good CD. Fade, It's Been a While and Outside are great songs.

 

 

 

I don't think the vocals are like Tool at all, if they remind me of anyone it's Hootie and the Blowfish.

My uncle went to one of their stadium shows and had seats way up and fell down like 3 stories and broke a few of his ribs and his pelvis.

yep, every station... rock, pop, alternatve...

 

 

 

as for the tool thing, i had a class where we examined and compared vocal styling of modern bands, and once, the teacher played stained and tool (she didnt name the song, just the bands) and they sounded ALOT alike...

I've got Break The Cycle, and even though I haven't listened to it for years it's still a great album in my opinion.

 

 

 

... I should listen to it sometime.
