Introduction

Hello everyone, Skill Caster is finally

becoming a legend. It's been my dream

right since I left tutorial island, and I've

decided to make a blog from finished the

requirements, to completing Legends itself.

Before I start anything, I would like

to give a really big thanks to Brandonssx, known

as G_U_T_H_I_X on the forums. He's honestly the

nicest person I've ever meet in my entirRunescape

life, and I really owe this thanks to him. I'd be

nowhere near as good as I am now without him. His

suprise awaits after I finish legends...

Thanks Brandon =).

Also, along the journey, I've made two great new friends,

xxilikepiexx (PSofpr33k) and wurmskin. They deserve a thanks

too, and they'll get it after I finish legends.

Now-on to the painful adventurous journey!

9/17/06 | Welcome to the Journey

Well, here I am. I've already done Waterfall Quest, Underground Pass (which I hated, of course), Heros, and Shilo Village, the only quest I need to do now is Family Crest. Well..as you can tell..I'm not that far away from Legends. I know it's going to be a very long journey to legends,

but I'm not worried. It'll be worth every second.

9/23/06 | Welcome back to the journey!

I've been away for a small while, so I've decided to restart the

blog since I've missed about a week's worth of posting. I've finished

up my thieving goals lately, and now I'm working on herblore and

prayer. Currently I'm working on Troll Stronghold for Eadgar's Ruse

and also unlock the wonderful world of law running, which I haven't

learned about until a little while ago. Thanks!

-Skill Caster

I'm back, I've raised my agility one more level to 34! YAY! I would

really like to thank wurm for his advice, which is why now I'm going to

up my agility to 36 and do One Small Favor.

9/24/06 | 2600 Laws in my bag! 2600 Laws!

Probably for the rest of the night tonight, I'll be law running until I get

2600 laws. Then I can cammy tele 2600 times (Yay me <.<), allowing me to reach my mage goal of 57, be able to do Family Crest, the last quest requirement I need for Legends.

In the end, tonight I ran a total of 1500 laws. I'm quite impressed with

myself! ::'

9/25/06 | Finishing Up on Laws

Finished up on my laws!

9/26-27/06 | It's Time to Tele!!!!!

I'm really excited now...2600 cammy teles ready to go. Time to start teleing like crazy until I get my goal...wish me luck

I've never had this much fun since I became a member! The sound effects is awesome, and I'm getting mad mage xp!

9/28/06 | Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I've got to tell you something. If your bored, and you have a few laws,

and 45+ mage, hop over to world 2 and start teleing. It's insane mage

exp, I've only got 5 levels left (about 1000 some laws left) until I can do family crest and...*gasp* start Legends. However, I vowed not to actually

do it until I've meet all the requirments.

9/29/06 | A Mage in Training

Well, at the end of the night I got level 54 mage, which is strange, because it happened right when I had 1000 laws left. I plan tomorrow to finish teleing and possibly do family crest.

9/30/06 | Finishing Up My Mage Goal

Hi everyone, I'm finishing up my mage goal for the rest of the night. I

didn't get on at any time today, but I'll try to make up for it tonight. I've

got around 850 laws to go now.

10/1/06 | Congratulations, you have 57 Mage.

Yes! Now with my mage goal finished, I can do Family Crest today

and I'll be 1 (2) steps closer to being a legend.

10/2/06 | Getting Closer....

Well, today I've finished One Small Favor, which boosted up my prayer

enough to meet the goal, and I've also done Eadgar's Ruse tonight to

up my herblore 5 levels. Now, also, with Brandon's present coming on

my...wait...I'm not supposed to tell the public what I'm going to do after

Legends yet....I mean...with Brandon working on a present I'll have

even more motivation for Legends, which is really exciting. I'll skill

some more tomorrow,

10/3/06 | Family Crest

Tonight I've start family crest, and I plan to finish either tomorrow night

or Thursday night. After this quest I'll be able to at least start Legends, which is quite exciting.

10/4/06 | 7 QP Until launch

Good evening everyone, I've finished Family Crest (and got cooking gauntlets, which will match my legends cape!), and so now I only need to get 7 more quest points to start Legends. Not much more skilling to go now, and I'm determined to finish by Halloween.

10/5/06 | Legends Quest Started: Check

I've started Legends, but I'm not going to start without the requirements

uncompleted, but it is exciting that I've actually started. I've decided to pick and spin around 1.5k flax to finish my goal and earn a bit of cash, then work to get 650k, so I can follow wurmskin's's advice for smooth

sailing to Legends.

10/5/06 | Spin..spin..spin..sp..zzzzzzzzzzz

Well, I've got around 1.6k flax to spin (thank godness for the new

lumby update). With that I'll double my cash and finish my crafting

goal, which is good. I've gotten 8/10 of my flax spun, so I'll finish

up tomorrow night. Cya tomorrow!

10/6/06 | ...zzzzz....zzzz..Sp...zzzzzzzzzzzz

I'm still spinning flax, not much else to say.

10/7/06 | Finishing Up Crafting/Prayer

Well, tonight I'm going to finish my crafting and prayer goals. I'm one trip away from finishing my crafting goal, and I'll use the money I get from my bowstrings to buy the rest of my prayer goal.

Well, my crafting is done, now I can sell all these bowstrings and make me a huge profit.

10/7/06 | *Sparkle Sparkle*

I'm getting off soon, but to finish my mining goal I thought I'd do it in

a cool way =). I'm mining gem rocks so I can buy a topaz-tipped machete, and do Legends in style  :XD:

I have skipped some entries due to inactivity.

10/22/06 | Blacksmith's Workshop

While I'm waiting for my friend to help me get my equipment for herblore, (I gave him the money, and payed him, I'm not that cruel hearted :XD: ) I'm working on finishing up my smithing goal. I'm working on iron and steel, to help me down the road. I didn't really work on getting the topaz-trimmed machete, it was too much time, since my mining goal was already finished. I settled for an opal one instead ::' .

Good luck on this, can't wait till you become a member of the Legend's Guild. To level herblore may I suggest the One Small Favour quest. Its annoying but hey, 20K exp in Herblore isn't that bad ::' . For smithing, buy around 1,300 iron ores and 2,600 coal ores for 650K (coal at 200 ea and iron at 100 ea). Smelt them into Steel Bars and then smelt them into cannonballs (requires the Dwarf Cannon quest. Its easy so yeah...) by doing this you'll get 50 smithing or close to it as well as 5200 cannonballs. You can sell the cannonballs for at least 180 each netting you 936K if you sell all of them at that price. If you calculate the difference on how much you spent for the ores and how much you gained... you make a profit of 286K  .

So now you have 286K on your hands, you can use this for herblore, crafting or prayer. You can also buy Rannars at 7K ea, buy WFV at the Adrougne General Store, and Snape Grass at 500 ea when you get 38 Herby and mix them into Prayer Potions then sell them at 7K ea. This is a 500 GP loss per potion made. When you hit 38, you can make approximately 356 Prayer Potions to get 45. You only lose 178K. \' Its an effective way of training Herby at higher levels I found :-$ .

Keep going and don't lose track of your goals, keep your eyes set on teh prize - the hawt Legend's Cape lol :3> . If you need any help with the quest itself you can PM me 8-) .

Nice, although I think its 59 magic to do Family Crest. I dont think you should teleport to get your magic up. :shame: High alch yew long bows. It may cost a little more, but you will get almost all of it back.

Just to give an example: I alched 6k yew long bows (spent 5.2m) I got 4.6m back. \'

Gl, the quest is very fun. But go for 43 prayer, the quest is really hard without. And 43 is a good thing to have.

Retired

2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes

Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
