how old was he?

I started playing soccer when I was 4, it's not that impressive.

Unless of course, you meant that he started playing professionally at the age of 14. In which case, that would be impressive, and you really need to say that in your message.

I don't know but if you're thinking of going pro again we'll have to have a talk.. You've showed that you don't have the work ethic to stay with it to the end.

You or I don't know him personally. He might have a short attention span and still huge motivation.

Mark Davies is 18 years old so I think it's very unlikely he started playing football at age 14 and getting so good in 4 years.

although i dont know much about football i can tell you when most people really use their talent and become really good is in your teens because youre bigger and have more resources such as high school teams which get you in the right shape

Very true as I witnessed this in my teens when some of my friends and cousins became pretty darn good at football and at least one of them is probably looking forwards to a pro-career.

What I meant was that a 14 year old that has never before touched a football is very unlikely to get very good in 4 years. Most good players started at age 7 or earlier.

(Nice post count you have there.. 8-) )

He had a thread about him wanting to become a profession football player some time ago.. In that thread he gave up that dream and wanted to be a guitarist.. I'd say short attention span and no motivation..

It doesn't matter how long you've been playing. You play in middle school, you play in highschool, then you play in college, then you get drafted into the pro's if you're good enough.

Why do you care what these people think? If you're spending time on the internet asking "Can I do this?" the answer is probably no, because you're not trying yourself.

The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past.

Give it up, lavignator. Do something you actually enjoy and are good at, not something you can't even commit for a week.

Anyways, I did some research but couldn't find anything about him. Sorry.

Punctuation was obviously on vacation for the duration of this post.

I used to have a link to my school's project to provide fresh water to a Kenyan Village, but the sig police changed the link to say something, which, if followed, leads to an "ahem" adult website. Let me ask you. Which do you think is worse?

Listen... do whatever the heck you want with your life, but if you are already 14 then probably give up professional football unless you already play it. Secondly, everyone changes their goals, but don't seriously start a topic that seems to be realting to how you want to mimic someone famous. A goal like that will definitely get you places. Yeah, lots of places. It's like me wanting to be a blacksmith and suddnely wanting to be an astronaut... It's just not right. Anyway, if you are really intent on football, then stop posting on these forums and get out and play. I, on the other hand, want to be a computer engineer. Me = spend time on the computer! :XD:
