Change the damage to chance to hit and higher chance to hit max damage.

 

So three choices:

 

 

 

Option 1:

 

Front: Multiply dam done by 1.

Option 2:

side:apprx.x1.25

 

back:approx. x1.4

 

This ones a good idea, No one hitting here!

Side: slightly increased chance of hitting your max hit or close.

Umm, I think that if it was 100% you would be hitting ur opp 100% max hits.

 

 

 

So 200% would double ur max hit.

100% = Same as now.

 

150% = 1.5 times more chance.

 

200% = 2 times more chance.

Not really.

 

It's just that you only think of the hit max part.

 

You should read again carefully.

I don't think that random weapon speeds should be added, I think that would add to much of a 'luck' aspect to combat. I've seen vids of P2P players pking, and it seems enough to not know weather your opponent's gonna spring out a godsword or dark bow and spec ya.

 

 

 

As for the 'Damage Modifiers Based on Angle of Attack' idea, I'm rather on the fence with that. For PVP, it'd be interesting, but at the same time if you do x2 damage from the back, then you could easily 1hit KO someone with a AGS spec from behind.

Maybe there could be a Speed Potion, which could increase the chance of hitting faster! ::'

 

I also like the idea of the slash marks, but I think that should take much coding.

What about having an increased chance to hit somewhat more as the original hit?

 

 

 

Front: +0%

 

Side: +15%

 

Back: +30%

 

 

 

Example: You hit 20, when you attack from back, you could hit 26.

EDIT: To make cheating not possible, it would only count for the FIRST hit on the side/back.

Yeah, I never like to see my suggestion die permanently so I am happy to see people take an interest, all my suggestions are link in my blog so periodicly they come back to life. :D
