i have an idea for a new clue lvl, lvl 4. these would be VERY hard and RARE, with very good rewards. They would be dropped by these monsters:

 

 

 

kq, dagganoth kings, chaos elemental,(highest drop rate) King Black Dragon metal dragons, giant mole, black dragons(med dr), black demons (lowest dr) dark beasts, abyssal demons,(med dr) nechryael, dust devils,(med low dr)

 

Rewards:

 

 

 

Dragon Med helm (somewhat rare)

 

D chain (Uber rare)

 

D legs and skirts (rare)

 

D sheild left half (very rare)

 

D sq (extremley rare)

 

D Armored boots (very uncommon)

 

D dagger (common)

 

D long (less common)

 

D baxe (less common)

 

D 2H sword (high rare)

 

D wcing axe (rare)

 

D Pickaxe (rare, dont flame me!)

 

Gold Dragon trim (uncommon)

 

White Dragon trim (uncommon)

 

 

 

Robin hood cloak

 

ancient warrior cape

 

Half key (loop)

 

Half key (teeth)

 

Crystal key

 

holy,balance,and unholy capes

new item descriptions:

 

the robin hood cloak is just that, robin hood's cloak. it has +10 range att and def, same color as hat and boots.

 

 

 

ancient warrior cape looks like a legends cape in barrows colors. it has +10 slash stab and crush attack, +1 str, +4 to all defences. must be a legend to weild.

 

 

 

the rings and capes are prayer items, +4 for the capes, +2 for rings. the capes are inverted god capes in color with the god's symbol in the center.

 

 

 

the gold and white dragon trim are used to trim the dragon gold and white lol. each box of trim has enough for 4 peices. the boxes are tradable, but the trimmed items are not. the dragon motifs on the sq and chain would have their outline's trimmed. i am taking suggestions for new items and improvemnts, keep this alive!!!

 

 

 

heres some other ideas for clue rewards

 

 

 

level 1 rewards: bronze thu black bracers, soft leather and wood, hard leather and oak bracers, "a beginners guide to magic"

 

 

 

lvl 2 rewards: mith, addy, studded leather and willow, green dhide and teak bracers, mystic book.

 

 

 

lvl 3 rewards: rune, blue dhide and mahogany, red dhide and maple bracers, farseer book.

 

 

 

lvl 4 rewards: dragon, black dhide and magic bracers, ancient book, staff of justice (sp?)

 

 

 

tomes of xp: give 10% of your current xp in a skill to that skill, works like a lamp, very rare.

 

 

 

ok hers how bracers work: they are small, round sheilds worn on the forearm, can be wielded while holding a 2h wep

 

 

 

the metal ones are for meleers, the wood and leather/dhide ones for rangers.

 

 

 

the sheilds provide a small def bonus (about 3/4 of a sq of the same material) and a str bonus black and up, and a range bonus (albeit small) blue and up. unlike defenders, they dont have att bonuses but they are better at defending. metal ones defend against melee and range, dragonhide/leather against magic and ranged.

 

 

 

the books are wieilded in the sheild slot and provide a mage bonus.

 

 

 

a beginners guide to magic is a blue book and can be read to give info on basic mage tatics. +2 magic att and def.

 

 

 

mystic book is a blue book with white trim, blk with red, or gold whith white. +6 magic att and def.

 

 

 

farseer is a orange book, +8 magic att and def.

 

 

 

ancient book is a brown/grey book with light grey trim (think arhims) +12 mage att and def.

 

 

 

the staff of justice provides up to 20 casts needeing a law rune, but provides absoulutley NO EXP. also a drop from new high lvl monster. ideas where to rechage it? (possibly law altar)

I think that's an awesome idea. Post on offical fourms, but what would drop the lvl 4 clues? KQ? KBD? etc...(sorry if you say what drops them, i didn't read the whole thing : )

I'm not real thrilled about this, but my biggest complaint is your "bracers" - they are kind of useless when worn under gauntlets or vambraces, and technically don't provide any real defensive value at all. The only way they'd be of use is if their defense was magically based, then it doesn't really matter what type you're wearing.

 

 

 

Of course this means we'd have to have another wield slot.

 

 

 

I'm kind of interested in knowing what kinds of challenges, puzzles, and such you can do that are significally harder than the level 3 clues, enough to warrant the prizes. I don't know about you, but going into level 50 wilderness is pretty risky as it is.

i have posted on rs forums, i posted here to see what ppl thought of it, and the boxes are intended to only trim dragon, its an anti price crash thing... and yeh going into the wildy is risky, and im not sure of what kind of challenges to put in i need ur help and jagex's lol... posibly u have to fight lvl 400 monsters? lol

yes lvl 3 clues are becoming far too easy, but the dragon trims would defeat the whole purpose for kq kbd etc.

 

 

 

the high lvls needs to drop some clues (especially chaos ele.) but the robin cloak was a bad suggestion, something more descriptive and new like bracelets, goggles and trimmed weapons...

whats wrong with the cloak? oh and the trims are suposed to b an ad on so u still have inscentive to kill those monsters.

Idunno these items are meant to be rediculosly rare in the first place, ud just get these slayers who spend there whole time killing abby demons and necheyals to get these scrolls. And even tho things like d chain are "uber" rare as you say, eventually someone would get one and its alot easier to kill a ton of abby demons than a bunch of kqs or kbds or something. its an interseting idea but it would definitley need a downgrade of the items, and maybe not so many super rare items like chains and stuff

sure ill add a red calv, i didnt put the d pl8/kite/full helm to avoid spam and flaming and all that nastiness, and i think that i can get away with abbys and necks bc of the slay lvl needed. (edit: omg a lvl 126 likes my idea! :oops: :mrgreen: )

I know this is just semantics, but they're only Lvl 124. As a tip, don't get a 'big head' over it.
