485th person to ever play RuneScape

Blue107- perm banned 10/12/2007. $300 USD reward if you can get me in contact with someone who will take 5 seconds to look at evidence and get my original character unbanned.

I used the site, after I ditched Sals, and my brother had signed up on the forums. So I was like, hey I want to to!

Back in the day (hehe :') ) I wanted to sell and buy stuff. This seemed to be the perfect forum for my needs. Then i wanted some ego boosting so I vissited the rate this forum quite often. After that I went browsing off topic a little bit and stopped playing runescape. Then the forum closed down and this forum came, and I registered again for off topic.

Friend pointed me to tip.it for runescape guides back in 2002. Started playing Arenascape in 2003 and then registered on scapeboard for the Arenascape forums.

I joined because I starting playing RuneScape and I wanted a good RS forum. I quit only two months after playing but I never left the OT section of TIF. I find that some of the people here on TIF are worth the stay.

I saw someone talking about tipit in game and about the quest guides. I need help with the quests so came to the site. Found the forum through the site and realised it was a bit better than the original official rs forum. This was early 2001.

I needed help on some quests(the oil can one  ) and a random person sent me to tip.it then I found the forums through there.

Intresting story actully... I was tryin to find cheats for RuneScape, like "UP DOWN RIGHT RIGHT" ones  (this is when I first started playin RS, total newb) didn't know it wasn't that type of game  Silly me. Well anyway I came across Tip.It and found they had a forum. During that Summer, I was in the Star Wars Battlefront 1/2 forums (before the 2nd came out) SWBF fourms were the best, since there was a new thread every 5 minutes (loads of users) :P Knowing Fourms is a good place to hang out I regester here.

All cuz of my ego for cheats on a game that wasn't the sort...

My friend (Endasil) told me to. This was like 3/4 years ago.

So eight months ago?

Heh, get it... 3/4 and in three-fourths... heh heh.

Like pretty much everyone else said, because of Runescape, but have since quit and just come here for OT and M&M.

EDIT: 3/4 of a year is 9 months, I am an idiot.

:D

I noticed that after I posted, but thought "nah, nobody's going to quote that and make fun of me" :P

Don't know the reason, just did. Never been much of a poster, even less so now that I've retired from Rs. Mostly just hang out in OT or M&M.

Umm well... I never really played runescape that much...I was still a newb when I quit...But I love forums, so a friend of mine told me to join up a few weeks ago.

Thanks to 4be2jue for the signature!

i played runescape! but shhhh! :-$

The only realistic thing in RS and also the only thing that actually wasn't a complete waste of time since it learned me several marketing principles :)

That has to be the only thing that I took with me when I walked away from RuneScape, I liked how involved it got you with math, so it was great that I could play a game AND learn something, and I could learn some stuff about medieval times (though not much, I had learned enough about medieval times to get me a good grade when we had something last year in school called "Medieval Fest"), I think it was a double bonus. :D

Now on subject.. I searched something, and tip.it came up as a search result, I ignored it and about a year later when I was a member on RuneScape (very stupid thing to do) I was on the official forums asking a question, a girl PM's me saying I should check tip.it out  and here I am, getting on RuneScape every now and then to talk to friends ::'

I started playing Runescape on June 15, 2005, 15 days before I registered here. I registered because I was new to the game and I needed help.

As you can see, Tip.It helped me massively. Only through tip.it was I able to achieve a 1510 total level in about a year and almost four months of playing RS.

I found Tip.It rather randomly though. I googled "Runescape" and this site was the first thing on the search thing.

We don't rebel to sell it just suits us well, we're the bright young things.

That's how I found it. Good old Google.
