we need more grafix updates

wow, r u serious? don't get runescape concepts much do you. First off, its a online java game thats free to most players. What do you expect? Java games aren't typically known for their great graphics...to update this, it would take a couple years i'm guessing. But they are already updating the cities and graphics every month, so stop whining. I think its fine, if you're playing runescape and conserned about graphics, it isn't for u.

Luckily, I could read that. Learn to spell. Anyways, this is JAVA. THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS. We get weekly updates, and the graphics are great. Learn to be grateful.

right java doesn't have good graphics, and every image on the web...no on a computer is pixelated.

 

 

 

if you want better pixels, play other games.

Personally, I think the graphics are really good, especially for a java game. Its not gonna be like Adventure Quest or WoW as of graphix, but all of them are medieval, have fighting, and quests!

The graphics in Runescape are the best I've seen in a Java game that people can play for free. I'm perfectly content with the graphics they have.

I like the graphics, but I dislike the new type of rocks their intoducing

 

( you know the ones with the ore color flowing throught it ) I dislike those somehow.

i honestly think people dont even know the graphical limitations of Java. Do you why WOW and guild wars look so good.....THERE CD GAMES. Your getting an online game streamed to you, not off a CD, use ur brain man.

atleast the storyline is good and jagex adds some humor... i think the storyline/gameplay is more important then the graphics..

 

 

 

and im greatfull its how it is because i cant really play cd games i have dial up internet...

You should be caring more about the CONTENT of the game, as in what you can do in the game, rather than the LOOKS of the game, which don't affect the game at all.

The graphics are fine.

Half of the community lag like hell, the other half are fine and love the new graphics.

A small majority complain about 'bad' graphics, but on the whole the community is happy.

The thing that most people don't understand about the poor quality of Jagex's graphics is that when you consider that it's a browser based game that's 1) based in Java and 2) very quick to download, then what they've done graphically with this game is truly astounding. I admire the Jagex coders, especially having worked with Java for 2 and a half years now. I don't claim to be anywhere near a professional-grade coder, but what they've done with the language is, in my eyes, nothing short of wizardry.

Look, WoW is a game ON CD!

 

 

 

Therefore, it can store more information, such as BETTER GRAPHICS.

 

 

 

For $5 a month, I shall be content with the graphics that I see.

Runescape runs on java

 

WoW runs on...well im not quite sure.

 

but its definetely something better than Java!

think about:

 

runescape: fully online

 

WoW: 2Gb game space + 2Gb updates... and only play able online
