Maybe 10 years from now.(sarcasm) I don't think they will, but hey, you never know.

i hope they do add a new quest...maybe one to learn the teleport spell to the rune essences mining area

I doubt that there will be any more quests. They probably want people to get members for the additional quests and items.

Most people don't become a member right off when they start. If they give new stuff to f2p then more people while continue to play and not quit cuz they get bored. If you can keep f2p from getting bored until they level to a high enough level to get members then they will. (if they can. I'm lv 63 and want members but my mom won't let me :( )

I think it would be cool if they made a holiday-related quest for non-members. The Christmas event last year seemed almost quest-like.

You're just as misinformed. The ads are per-click. How many people actually click the ads? And besides P2P gives more money...And in a message from Jagex, a Mod said that F2P servers were paid for by members.

Actually, the ads also pay slightly by simply being viewed. And JAGeX has stated that the ads keep F2P running, with a bit of profit left-over... not much, mind you, but just a bit. How do you think they could afford to add new servers for F2P then?

That was excatly what is was thinking. They would never waste time to make a quest that was f2p. IF we ever do get a new quest it will be one that the mebers already have. I know they are a few quests that have all the people in f2p severs too.

As much as I wish it to be, no, Jagex wont release another F2p quest.

 

If they did they'd have to mess around with sorting out the new quest points required for the good ol' Dragon Slayer quest and maybe create a small new area for F2p seeing how all the quests we have now involve almost every location currently.

 

There just isn't any need for new quests, the whole reasoning behind this thread is you want what P2p has, and that's obviously good for Jagex.

I hope so, and maybe it will come one. But probalby, it will not come anymore F2P quests :(

I say anything's possible. They add new contents every month, the game changes all the time. Who knows maybe they decide to add more f2p content for potential P2Ps to play.

The more popular runescape becomes the more companies will pay more for advertisement. So f2p pretty much looks after itself, as the amount of players in the game increase daily. As for the knew quests I don't think f2p will have to wait aslong as people have mentioned, maybe a few monthes,a year perhaps who really knows...
