Is there a way to gain 1 xp point (in anything) besides attaching feathers to arrowshafts?

No, I'm the real owner of N0valyfe. I'm just too lazy to look for information, and with 200M fletching nearing completion, I need an alternative way to gain unit experience.

Making a single headless arrow should do it.

copying someone elses name? i met n0valyfe twice well anyway i dont think there is the combats skills dont why would you want to anyway?

That was polite... he was only askign a question, does it matter if he is the real n0va or not? Not to me, at least he cant scam ppl with asking a question about stuff in rs...

back to the question, the only skills i know that you can get 1xp in is Attack, Strength, Defence and HP besides fletching.

With controlled you get less xp.

Also less xp in abyss.

Less xp on random events.

LordFan21.pngHilordfan.jpgZ0mg look im so kool even mods tok to me.

oops sorry, I was meant to say. 1 Damage Dealt is 4 times the exp. Are you sure it's 3, i'm like 100% sure it's 4. And thats why I didn't get much exp from killing those stupid shades  :wall:

You can also get 1 to def by doing longranged ranging.

lordfan21 is correct about reduced xp in abyss - I observed this in the fairy rings abyss, anyways.

Fletching is the only really low xp that I know of - I think that chiseling opal gems into tips used to give *very* low xp ... dunno if that changed with the bolt update, of course.

Killing random event monsters gives only 1/10 the normal exp.

1/10? i thought its much lower than that, more like 1/50 or something...

Abyss is 1/4 i know for sure.

While training magic defensivly, don't you get 1 defence exp per damage done?

Yep, and same goes to other combat stats too i think.

1/10?

Pretty sure. But it is a bit hard to test.

i thought its much lower than that, more like 1/50 or something...

Well it would be an effective value of 1/40 if you fought in controlled.

So if someone wanted to get 1 unit of exp then they could get themselves

cursed by the Zammy wine monks (or whatever) to lower their combat

effectiveness, and then fight bare fisted against the random event monster.

If they carefully watched their stats, they could run away from the fight

at just the right time when they reached their goal(s)

That's how I got my Atk, Str, and Def to all be perfectly matched. :)

Well, what the Tip It magic guide says is that you get 1 pt of magic exp and 1 pt of def exp

for every damage point that you inflict

The normal magic exp earned is

Exp = BaseExp + 2*HitDone

So it looks like you would earn exp (when training in Def style) as

Mage exp = BaseExp + 1*HitDone

Def exp = 1*HitDone

HP exp is always HitDone*4/3

(except when fighting against Random event monsters)

i think attaching feathers is only way....dont ask me im no good at fletching

Thanks for the suggestions so far, but I need to gain one and only one experience point outside of the fletching skill.

Well, I know for certain that you can do it by fighting bare fisted against random event monsters while heavily weakened.

It's probably best to do this now, before you really "need" it.

That way, you can always fix it if you do end up hitting too hard.
