BlueLancer Posted October 23, 2006 Share Posted October 23, 2006 Well there are 2 situations going on in my life that I am lost in terms of what to do. If it helps, I'm 14. First is this: this girl in my theatre class is flirting with me all the time. However, I am almost positive she has a BF. I'm serious, she is always "messing" with me. I think I like her, but I dont know what I should do. Second is this: a girl I broke up with about 6 months ago I found is extremely obsessive. This kept me going out with her for a while, because almost everywhere I looked I saw "I love Trey." I didn't want her to go insane and do something irrational, so I played along. Thankfully she lost interest for a while, so I broke up with her. Recently it came to my attention that she is still extremely obsessive over me. I found out that she took a pair of scissors, heated them with a lighter, then cut a T for my name in her arm. I am extremely worried as to what she will do in the state that she is in. Any advice would be nice. Thanks. 1. Why don't you go for her? She seems more stable than option number two. Talk with her. 2. Take her pair of scissors and if she comes near you threaten to cut her hair bald from the sides so that she only has top hair and a mullet. She might not be stable, but then again she might commit suicide because her hair is so ugly and you solve the problem, and you get a pair of scissors. She's not worth your time. Really, there are so many threads about this, and very few of us here are gifted in the field of relationship therapy. This forum may not be the best place to ask for advice, especially since literally hundreds of posts like this have been made and people are getting tired of this stuff. what the heck. Ignore me. :D How about no. Just post normal, you expect people to stop posting this because it annoys you. I expect you not to constantly repeat yourself because it annoys me. I don't mean to start a flame war over this, I'm just saying it's natural to feel bad about things like this. Obviously you would feel bad, but honestly it wouldn't be your fault...would it? Depends. Some people say she's sucidal not your fault. Others say it's all your fault. I think it's half half. It is the person's problem, but you have to help that person by contacting parent's, counselers, etc. If you don't bother to try, you should be taking a part of the blame, if you did your best, not your fault. In the second scenario, tell her parents to get her some therapy and tell her to stop being a selfish prig. Failing that, ram her with a tank.
