fellupahill
its fun to see how much merchanting has changed the guide was like back in 2003 by some of us back when we were pretty rich. skeroh
archive of wisdom? i believe that merchant guides are pointless. i'd rather make use of my skills to make money than to walk around varrok or falador trying to attract customers. Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)

poida
I remember buying nature runes for 100gp each from lower levels at the dark wizards south of varrok and then selling them for 500gp each back in classic  Times have changed heaps now its quicker to just runecraft them. DeadPolkaDots1
Nice find. :D ``*Avoid investing in expensive items. Merchanting party hats is definitely a no. By the time you sell your party hat for a good price, and buy another one cheap, you've only made probably 100k tops...and with stackable items you could have made 200k in that time easily. '' How wrong did he get it?! Quit RS to play real games. :P Bye TIF, miss you.
endo
He means that the time taken for selling a party hat is way too long, long enough for you to earn multiples amounts of profit dealing in other items, which is very true, even now you dont find many buyers with pure cash or non lurers
Chaos_Reborn
In my opinion, this merchanting guide doesn't differ much at all from what a merchanting guide today would look like. Yes, prices have changed and there are no certs, but the whole basic and "stackable item" merchanting remains the same. It's a really good guide. RandomNumbers123
How old is this guide lol? certs...didn't they go when RS2 started and the prices are well out and there are many many many new items that will probably be better to use by now.. hellbellz
Actually it's a really nice guide. Funny how merchanting hasn't changed that much. Just inflation of rares, whips, etc. [Darn inflation :x]
icecube
I lol'ed when I read the post about picking up respawning arrows.. Then I realized one method to make money back in RSC, was to pick bananas at Karamja and put them in the crate for 30gp. At least for us n00bs :D .
