Nah, doesn't have her writing style on it. I still think it's Ard and she's trying to throw us off. Seems like every time we're close, they try to throw us off.

Hey, people! I just found the "Mark of 'The Editor'..." on the back of two other nametags! Eeeeediot's and Oddfaery's!!!

***Hands Ard_Choille a slice of cake so she'll hit backspace instead of launching that command line she typed with the 'Enter Key'.***

It could be all of them, and they all go under the guise of "The Editor" and every now and then they come out from under that guise and write an article under their name to throw us off.

Eh, my mental nose is too good. I caught the scent of Ard's style and matched it to "The Editor". Even if 'The_Editor' account on these forums posts now, I am firmly locked on, and my crosshairs won't be moving... Unless "The Editor" is like Ard's twin, of course. But I don't think she has a twin sister or brother. :?

Heh...this week's Times article was written by Ard_Choille. I think someone is trying to trick us into thinking just because she wrote this article, she can't be The Editor :P

Anyways, Ard talks a bit about standard deviation, as did the Editor in the last article. IF the Editor was truthful in the last article about the 5.6 standard deviation, what are the odds of finding someone else, especially a Tip.it admin, with the exact same 5.6 standard deviation? Very slim I say :)

Standard Deviation's a moving target. Every time you level up, it changes.

Of course so...but both the Editor and Ard had the 5.6 standard deviation at the exact same time :)

Unless the Editor put in Ard's standard deviation on purpose to throw us off, which I could see happening.

I bet a lot of skillers had the same SD -- Mine's been fluctuating between 4.8 and 6.2 for months now.

***Looks at Hugh's post...***

Alright, could anyone either give me the function info to use, or just simply tell me what my "Standard Deviation" is? :-s *confused*

I'm sure many do...but not all that many. There will always be someone out there with the same standard deviation, but what are the odds that:

Ard has:

-Tip.it Admin

-All of the skill level req's to be Editor

-All quests complete just like the Editor does

-Looking through her goals thread, had prayer in the high 60s in August

-Looking through her goals thread, had all skills but construction 70+ in August

-The same writing style, and wanting to keep skills even

-The same standard deviation of 5.6 the day the Editor posted he/she had a 5.6 standard deviation.

I'm not saying its definitely her...but clues sure add up don't they? :)

I don't think you can really go much on specific skill levels. There are 1,000,000 people on the high scores for each skill. With levels between 30 and 99, that means, assuming an even spread that there are around 14.5k people at any given level -- less in the newer and unpopular skills. In the combat skills, where you have to be around lvl 60 to be in the top 1,000,000 then there's about 20 - 25K people per level.

I'm not sure that it adds up as strongly as you seem to think it does.
