GTA San Andreas (Looking for demo & store)

Featured Replies

Ok anyone know where i could find a free playable demo of this so i can see if it will run good on my computer?

And does anyone know where i could find this without shopping online?

Sig

At any local video game store? :-s Try electronics boutique.

As far as any demo goes, I'm not too sure about that.

well i cant run it, pretty upset but i dont got the money to buy a new video card and i dont know how to install it.

Sig

Don't worry. GTA for the computer = very lame.

I wish it weren't true, but it seems to be. I bought it and it ran on my computer, but the controls were very, very stupid. To look side to side you had to push down the right mouse button and move it...It was really awkward. Other than that, the other controls were pretty bad too.

I love love love LOVE the series for console, but on computer it was just bad. I wish it wasn't, because I wanted to play Multi-theft auto. :P

Erm, I don't know what you've been playing but I've played every GTA there is for the PC and not one of them required that you do that. What's more, all the controls are redefinable.

San Andreas. :-k

That was the default way to turn your character/look sideways. There seemed to be no key to push to make him run sideways, lol.

I figured they were redefinable, but I just didn't mess with it, if the default controls are teh sux, then I won't waste my time messing with them 'casue they'd STILL suck. :P

Well on my default isntall of GTA:SA moving your mouse circles the camera around your character and changes the direction in which they'll move. If you were talking about aiming a weapon then yes, you have to hold the right button because it zooms in on some of them, something you wouldn't want when you're normally walking around.

At first I thought the same, the controls seemed wierd. But after, I would say no more than an hour, you get used to them, and I learned to like them even more than those of Vice City. If you're too impatient to get used to them, it's your own fault if you didn't like it.

if you can get a 1.0 version, you can download multi theft auto. No mods will work on 2.0 due to that hot coffee thing

GTA For the pc is WAAAAAAAAAAAY better than the console GTA -

reasons:

1. multiplayer vice city - OMFG! THIS IS THE PWNAGE

2. Customisable radio stations - any tune you want on the radio

3. No horrendous loading times. Theres practically no load time on mine

4. Better graphics - and getting better all the time

Don't forget you can mod pretty much anything.

Oh, you liked the bedroom game then? :o

Funnily enough I got to 98% completion on GTA:SA but I never bothered to see what Hot Coffee was like.

Anyway, I don't think it could be any worse than the sex scene in the adventure game Fahrenheit (a.k.a. Indigo Prophecy).

1.) Not a fan of online gaming, too impersonal

2.) Could do that on Xbox, not that I listened to my tracks that much

3.) I only had a loading screen once when I was flying a hydra a few feet above the ground

4.) Goldeneye graphics are fine for me as long as the game is fun to play. The graphics in the game are already a pretty unrealistic style, what do you need them "better" for?

I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.

You never got the loading screen when you are starting the game? Or when you're loading a new game?

100% for me, and same.

The sex scenes were cut out in Indigo Prophecy (the North American release for those who don't know). ESRB doesn't rate games in Europe right? And no ratings in Europe were changed becuase of this yes? So it would seem sex is a much larger problem for Americans (why? I don't know. The Superbowl incident was like the biggest news event of that year, and big enough that you know exactly what I'm talking about.)

Weird, I forgot those were loading screens :P I think those are kind of fun :)

Sex IS a much bigger problem for americans.

Take the example of Vampire: Bloodlines:

There were two scenes to take note of - one in which a woman shows her boobies. One in which a man gets executed by having his head cut off with a sword.

In the USA, the boobies were censored. In the UK, the decapitation was.

Which do you think is a healthier attitude?

My carbon footprint is bigger than yours...and you know what they say about big feet.
