WHO CARES. I hate that channel so much. The irony of the fact it has no music in it, or the one song is plays 10 second clips from between reality shows, pisses me off even more. I don't get it why people watch "programs" like Big Brother AND pay with text messages to fund the production of the show, somebody please explain.

October 30, 200619 yr I need to quit being sarcastic - it seems that I'm failing miserably at it. Nah, I think people just suck at reading it. Anyway, I love all of these shows, they are such bad-awesome television. The only problem I have with it is that they are aired on a channel called Music Television. If it is called Music Television then there should be music on it, not crappy-awesome reality. Not to say I don't love these shows, because I do. Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.
October 30, 200619 yr I admire MTV for changing their branding from "just another music channel", to one with teen programs that has been ridiculously successful. I like to imagine the meeting of the directors, where they were sitting round a big table, and one of the newer ones tentatively suggested putting on teen programs, and everyone else looked at him as if he was insane, and asked why the heck there would be teen programs on a music channel :) Of course, MTV is all complete and utter trash, and I look down on anyone who watches it for being suckered in 8-) For it is the greyness of dusk that reigns.The time when the living and the dead exist as one.

There's the main cable one that isn't really a music station, but on satellite and digital cable there are like 10 more MTV's that actually do play music. Personally I only watch MTV in the morning's maybe one day a week before I leave for school while eating breakfast for about 15 minutes if there's a decent song on. The cable MTV does play music really early in the morning. Other than that, I can't stand the other stuff. Any reality TV irritates me. Teenage drama is unneccessary.

MTV has TRL (Total Request Live) that's music related. And I love Real World and Parental Control and Next!! I want to watch MTV Europe! Me doing staff.
