Best place for magic training in F2P...?

hello, I am a F2p player. I have prepared 19k deaths and 95k fires

 

 

 

for fire blast to train up my magic lv (crumble undead needs to click mouse too many times so i give up lol)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

currently i m doing fire blast on lessers in ... hmmm the place near the dragon slayer quest is ( karamja island i think...)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but just wondering if there's a better place in f2P world?

Well if you want to pick up your drops i would keep training on the lessers on karmaja or crandor. If you just want to go for exp i would go on top of the oracle mountain and attack the black fortress guards, since they respawn very quickly since their quest related.

Karamaja is one of the best spots, especially with that small chance for a rune medium. We all want them, you can get them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But this spot is often crowded and likely progress will not maximize itsself.

 

 

 

If you want the drops, stick to the lesser demons. Don't go to the wizard tower, due to very slow respawning!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you want experience, soully, not a nice drop once in a while, I'd suggest you need:

 

 

 

A monster with high healthpoints

 

 

 

Low magic defense

 

 

 

Good respawning

 

 

 

May not to be strong / can be safespotted

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oef.. and F2P ofcourse.

 

 

 

The gaurds have all these, but they have low health. So your last hit will not be maximized. You can try black knights inside the same castle ofcourse. A little better. White knights, even better! But still, In my idea, for fire blasts! .. lesser demons are a fine target.

fire blast eh? Lessers attacking you? wasteing food? in the very top of the wizard tower, there is a lesser in a cage. He rspawns very fast, and if you find a low player world whihc is easy to find, then nobody will be there, and you can blast him away. Use tele grab to get the drops.

Don't do it with fire blast. This spell also gives magic exp for each point of damage done! Furthermore: there are safspots at the lessers and the white knights, so you don't have to use any food while training on them. Another potential target could be the ice giants in the cave near Thurgo the dwarf. Ice <-> fire spells should hit high, but need conformation on that. Also, the big bones they drop are a nice way to level prayer, especially in F2P where it is hard to level anyway.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You can try curse failing in full metal armour (any kind) with dragnhide vambraces to maximise your negative magic bonus. It involves a lot of clicking, though and you stated you hate that before...

Well, if you want to maximize the magic exp that you earn

 

 

 

then you should attack a high HP monster.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So, you could use the caged lesser in the top of the wizzy tower,

 

 

 

or the lessers under the Karamja volcano, or the lessers past the

 

 

 

Karamja secret door, of the lessers on the top of Crandor Island.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I always liked doing the Crandor lessers since there are safe spots

 

 

 

and, usually, they are almost always available.

 

 

 

If you attack them right, then you can fight 2 at once.

 

 

 

That makes getting the loot easier after they both die.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BTW, you should earn about 950000 magic exp from those Death runes.

I would say lessers all the way.

 

 

 

Don't wear full metal armour. The damage you would make will be very low, and you need it for leveling mage (remember -1 hp to monster = 2 mage xp)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BTW, why dont you wear a fire staff? Air runes are really cheaper than fires, and you will use more fires.

With 19K deaths, I'd be merchanting them through and through, or saving them for anything that needs killing quickly (by the hundred or two, for wildy trips).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And unless averse to gaining hitpoints, use kit with bonuses to magic, as damage done increases mage XP (and also hitpoint XP).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The opposite of Curse failing, where success just means you need a new target.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, landing a successful curse on your attack target can increase the hit success, so more hit-based XP for the same number of shots.
