DarkDude
When I'm killing abyssal demons I rarely pick up herbs/coins and such drops due to the fact that I'm using wild pies, the 5 seconds I take to pick up the items add up and per trip It'd cost me ~10 demons, those 10 demons could potentialy be 19M, I'd rather have a 1/10000000000000 chance of getting that 19M then just getting 3000gp from coin drops. I'm also usualy full so picking up herbs is just a pain.
Ervin
wow what an idiot lol, I would be considered a high level (1700 total), and id still pick those nats up, as well as all the seeds and herbs. Why not? [Admin edit:we do not allow religious references in signatures]
gamecube10074
don't get bones unless they drag... get all significant runes. and when i know im nearing the end, pick up everything that could be usefull, but its not like you are using slayer at mid-low lvls to make money, even at high lvls it isn't that good. Soma2035
sometimes players don't bother to pick up em if they are like 1 or 2 runes... and if they are hurry... also rich players I would think not, saying I think of myself as rather wealthy(Green p hat+dragon+barrows) Yet I pick up nats and herbs. Limps if I have room. I'm doing relatively okay but I'd still pick up natures all the time. Limpwurts too. By "okay" I mean I'm not quite rich yet... but I can buy basically anything I'd want/need. And it's wierd. I see players with less than 1/400th of what I have leaving stuff that I'd take. Especially nature and water runes from blue dragons, people leave those all the time. moopymitchell182
I see a lot of loot left on the ground at the green dragons, with hides being the most common. I ask them why they leave the hides... and I get a quick "bones worth more money." It makes no sense to me. Why kill more dragons for less money when you can kill the same ammount for more? Also, I see people leaving coins. I always pick up my coins. I always pick up stuff that alches for 1k or more. It helps pay for the cost of the food and tanning of hides. xvillexvalox
most drops are just not worth picking up like coins from fire giants, black demons, etc they are usually like 100 gp although they do stack up in time, i'd rather not waste the extra 2 seconds big bones are not worth burying imo they are like 16 exp? a whole slayer task would be like 2-3k exp in burying big bones that would take 10+ mins more to pick up and bury them Today I got from 53-54(about 2k xp was left) prayer burying NORMAL bones (which are 4 or 5 xp) :shame: get into the habit of burying all yuor bones, itll help your prayer. As for drops being worthwhile to pick up,Flash crawlers in the famine level of the stronghold of security are the best. 5-10 nats per run 500-700 fires per run 40-60 iron ore (noted) per run 100ish dust runes per run 1 law(brought to use with dust rune to tele home) 23 unids (unids drop really often with these guys) If oyu're lucky enoguh to get some ranarrs (3-4) every run, you can easily make 200k an hour with loads of xp. Rebdragon
Meh, I grab everything I can and drop the least valuable non-stackable stuff when I need more space. The thing that confuses me though is how many piles of Big bones I always see at the Fire Giants. I've goten a ton or Prayer experience picking up the bones people leave behind, and they leave it behind for basically no reason at all. No one's in that much of a hurry so that 2 seconds spent on a bone pile would hurt them, and since you just pick it up and bury it it doesn't take up inventory space. I'm confused :-s . xpx
However, yesterday I was killing cockatrice(s?) for my herblore. I love them, every time I go there, I leave with 50 nats, a lvl 2 clue scroll, 20 limps and some random seeds/herbs. well, thats a hell of a lot..... 50 nats- 1 trip to abyss lvl 2 clue- waste of time(i havent done any clues since i was training at greater cave, and that was years ago-utterly useless) 20 limps- if i need any, ill just buy em herbs/seeds- again- if i need any- ill just buy some 15k for 15 mins? thats terrible. nechryaels are like 500k an hour, abbys if your lucky about 500k an hour too, nats at 75 400k an hour, stakeing....any amount of money an hour... i dont usually take up drops from low lvl creatures too- its just too much of a timewaste- i usually one hit them, and taking up a drop is one hit lost First to 99 Farming on 27. Unitedite
I've stopped picking up anything but the very valuable drops when i'm doing slayer... but that's because i use B2P. The less drops i pick up, the more space in my bank for bones, so the less i need to cast it :P In a little hilltop village they gambled for my clothesI bargained for salvation and they gave me a lethal doseI offered up my innocence, I got repaid with scorn"Come in'', she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm"
