the eyes are huge. they need more detail and to be smalle-erd (lol sory couldnt think of a word). you need more contrast in the hair, right now it looks plain old bad. her nose is also huge, make it smaller. the earings are nice, but they are kinda defying gravity. the neck is to long, and its not shaded right under the chin where the shadow is cast. the lips are also huge. make em smaller, and less bold possibly? the clip thing in her hair is really good, and so are teh earings. keep up the good work. btw the d imond on her neck is tilted for some reason?

her ayes aren't huge it just looks that way with the makeup, which was my intention. As for the colors, its your word against MXM....yea...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I see wat you mean about the necklace, and sometimes i think she looks like a hippie. The lips are kinda supposed to be big, since i wanted her to look Hispanic. Thanks for the c/c eckered, keep up your good work with your pixels.

I don't think they're talking about the eyes themselves. The eyes are the right size; the irises are not.

liking this, but I think you've used way too many colours, also it doesn't hurt to tweak your colour saturations. I made a little edit, reduced it to 32 colours and used you're colours to smoothen the face in places. Gave her a smile :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Try make the most of the colours you have, but other than that this is pretty good. You're improving.. :

I see wat you mean, I dont like it as bright as you put it, but lighter than mine looks better. I honestly dint know you could tweak it a lil with PS or wat not. As for the pupil, I willingly left it out, make look gloomy, but I should of make the iris smaller.

well most pixel artists refuse to work in programs like Paint because you don't have full control of Hue/saturation/contrast/lightest. It tends to waste precious time as intially, most pixel artists work to a deadline for someone. programs like Graphics gale have these options built in, but nothing stops you from flicking into photoshop if you prefer working in Paint.

There's nothing really wrong with her eyes.. thats a bit OTT

yea i color the piece on Graphics gale, but i CANT do my line art on it...its just terrible. lol. I love the way you have controll of the hue/sat of the color swaches on GG, so uber lol

Her face looks fuzzy. ^_^

and using Graphics gale is not cheating, even the best use it. And i know plenty who use PSP for contrast, altho i dont. Pixel art dose not mean sticking to tradition, in fact its just to make good looking art.
