My trip to chicago. :) hehe.

Several weeks ago, they offered us to go on a trip to Chicago for 2 days for the small fee of 200$. I, for some reason, REALLY wanted to go. I got my dad to pay for it, thankfully.

*Advance two months*

Today (November 2nd, a Thursday), we're leaving for Chicago. ALL OF TODAY, I had been trying to get at least one of my friends to sit with me on the bus. Of course, they didn't. -.- I was pretty annoyed, until I saw which chaperone I was with. Oh yay. Bad chaperone and annoying people. Joy to the world  I didn't say anything and just went along with it.

I sat down on the bus, waiting for anyone to sit by me. Eventually, an 8th grade (I'm 7th) girl sat beside me, and she told me her name was Sophie. We didn't really talk much, we sat and watched the movie for about 4 hours or so. Eventually, we started talking A LOT, about really everything. She entered her phone number and email address onto my new cell phone (The first friend on there :)). We agreed to sit together the next day.

It was about 11:30 PM when we got to the hotel, when I think we were supposed to be there at 10:30 or 9:30. Stupid traffic. It was a 7-8ish hour trip. We all get out and go into the hotel, and into the elevator. I'm sitting in the elevator..Seems my key holder is a bit light. Oh, I lost the key. -.- Right now I'm feeling crappy, lol. My teacher told me not to worry about it, my roommates will let me in. So I knock on the door, and my 3 roommates are already in there.

It was such a small room. 2 Small beds, 4 people. Eventually me and another kid slept on the floor (when going to bed at 2:30 :P). One kid I had already known, the other two I didn't. They told me they were Sophie's friends.

I woke up at around 5:50, and went ahead and got ready for the day. The others were just waking up at about 6:20, and I was ready to go :). I had to sit around for a while, since we couldn't leave the room till 7:30. *Hour passes*. We get our stuff, and leave the room. We're all standing in the hall way, waiting for everyone, and eventually, they get there.

We started to navigate the hotel, trying to get the breakfast area. I assumed they'd give us some donuts or something..

I was really wrong :D We had an enormous buffet, strawberries, apples, pineapple, orange, peachs, eggs, bacon, hash browns, tons of stuff. And the best thing is that is free.

I sat with my new friend who was also Sophie's friend, and he also stayed in the hotel room with me. All he eat was fruit loops and 6 cartons of milk. Roflmao. After a bit, Sophie came over and talked with us. We sat for a bit, then everyone started to leave.

We got on the bus, and Sophie and I tried to sit together. Stupid other kid sat besides me. Good thing it was a 1-hour drive. We saw tons of bridges, Lake Michigan, Steel mills (which were cool to watch), tons of stuff.

We got to the mueseum, and it was enormous. Absoulutely enormous. It was extremely "hands-on", and was a lot of fun. I got tons of pictures. The best part, though, was seeing the chickling hatchery. They had 3 new born chicklings that had just got out of their eggs not too long ago. They looked so tired, lol. They had another area with about week-4 week old chicklings. Some were black, some were yellow. One had a black head and yellow body :). They also had some cloned mice, which was amazing.

We left the mueseum after about 3 hours and lunch (which I sat with Sophie again), and this time I finally was able to sit next to Sophie on the bus. We got to stop next to Lake Michigan, got a group photo, and a ton of individual photos. The birds got so close to us. Within 5 feet.

Sophie told me her uncle built one of the buildings near us, and showed me. It was awesome. We got there, and we went inside. Some kid said some racist comments at me, involving my skin color (white). I wanted to go and punch his face in. If I did, though, I would've gotten in so much trouble

We went to the first part, about get tutenkamen (or something along those lines...), which was AMAZING!ly boring. I was one of the first done, so I just stood around in the gift shop waiting for my friends or chapperone. Turns out my chapperone was like 20 minuites behind me. I sit around, got tons of pictures, and talked with Sophie and Roger (My friend from the hotel room).

Thankfully, my teacher FINALLY came out. We went to some other exhibits, one being important was the animal one. Me and Sophie went along the whole thing, virtually alone (one of the reasons I think she likes me, which I'll probably post later on the sticky :uhh: ). It was pretty awesome.

FINALLY, we leave. My feet were killing me. Me and Sophie sat together again, which was fun. We left 3:30ish. Sophie's OTHER friend (she had a lot of friends, lol) said that Sophie said I had cute eyes. <3 We watched some movies, talked, etc. Eventually, Sophie started to get sleepy and put her head on my shoulder ( :3> ). It was pretty cool.

And that concludes my trip to chicago.

What I gained: My first trip to a major city. A new best friend. Fun at the mueseums. Knowing more stuff :3> More new friends. Was worth it imho.

I will shoot down any one with my bitting wit, and sarcasm!

What POSSIBLE reason would someone have to make a fake like that?Does he profit from faking a picture like that? Does it help him at all?Jesus Christ, stop being so suspicious. This is Tip.it for God's sake, not RuneHQ. -_-
