T-Roach
It was "meh" for me. Little to no action. -15 minute parkour scene at the beginning (action) -Hour and a half of casino talk, (story building)) -10 minute ending scene (action) And no gadgets? What's up with that? I mean Bond films defined what an action movie is. There have been hundreds of movies that try to "be like a bond film". Its practically its own genre. And this movie was not in that genre. ur opinions suck. Doctor of Dental Surgery-2014Medical Doctor-2018?Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon-2024? MyPurpleCrayon
Haha, that's exactly what my oldest brother said. How2PK
Heh. bond in a ford, that was my thought as well. :P But overall the movie was pretty damn good! Eva Green! <3 Drool. assassin_696
I was really, really impressed by the film after seeing it yesterday. It was just that bit darker than all the recent ones but still had the typical Bond wit. I thought Craig was brilliant as Bond, appearing much more human than the others. Shame about the Aston Martin though :( "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
darkmage099
I liked it. He was a better Bond than I thought. I really enjoyed the first scene where he chased that guy. Stoop111
I enjoyed the movie a lot. The realistic gadgets made the movie for me. Torture seen was odd =\ I enjoyed it when he parked the range rover. Craig was the best person for bond ever, Bravo  Isn't it lovely how having an opinion makes you hated around here? Shame about the Aston Martin though :( I didn't think it was the typical Bond wit. The humor in this movie is a lot more character based, unlike the humor in other Bond movies. He still has his one liners, but they aren't that bad as usual and they don't have the same timing as the other always used to have, for example: after a kill. And yea, Bond was much more 'real', than previously. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! But I did think there was still just enough dry wit and one liners, but in more appropriate places than after he's just shot someone. trapical
I did find it great how he was still an amateur. Getting noticed by the guy he was following, letting the guard see his earpiece, unable to jump after the parkour guy so he rode the maintenance elevator, etc

Anesthesia
Annoying product placements They're the reason I haven't seen it. Before, the product placements were believable. He drives an Aston Martin because it is a prestige car and he is a prestigious guy - it was not necessarily to sell more Aston Martins, it was to make his character more believable. However, the way product placement has got nowadays it is stupid. It really detracts from the integrity of the films because it is irrelevant most of the time. There is NO NEED to know what sort of laptop someone is using. There is no need to see them put their iPod on before a fight scene (damn you Blade Trinity, I want my bandwidth time back) and there is no need to take delivery of your crappy converse trainers when it has nothing to do with the story. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.
caligula101
1. No gadgets (no Q) 2. No traditional Bond music 3. No Bad guy bond girl 4. No Car chase 5. No cool one liners "Bond, James Bond" etc It was a good film just not much of a Bond film.
