I agree with alot of it. But however, with most lists of this nature, they're "stuck in the past"

i think they should have picked a different FNM song... epic is really more of a raprock.... i know it was only picked because it was there biggest hit.... but "Suprise!! You're DEAD!!!!" is a much better song :-w

I agree to an extent, most of this shouldn't even be here. Maybe "most influential", but to the extent of how it sounds, and skill put into it, most of this is crap.

yeah, same... but if you two were to make a top 40 list... what would you put there?

Yeah, I agree this list is a bit restrictive. I'd leave Breaking the law, Crazy train, Run to the hills, Detroit Rock City and Refuse/resist on that list. I'd definitely take out Guns'n' Roses and Slipknot. And, that song by Alice Cooper that made it in this list is not by far his best, imo. But I must confess there are quite a few songs on that list that I didn't hear, so I can't say anything about them. (And the opposite is true, meaning the maker of that list obviously didn't hear a lot of metal songs and bands).

Hmmh this is a way old, yet still newest list around.
