I've had many friends d/l it with ease on 56k. 2) Most people do things illegally as far as warez goes. Personally - The only people I believe I rip are game publishers.. unless I really like the game and im not strapped for cash. Otherwise, all I am using programs such as.. Maya, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.. for are as learning tools. As long as I don't use them for profit there isn't much wrong imho. Furthermore, i've seen more impressive stuff than these signatures on Oekaki animations. No, im not dissing them, they fit well... but you people really need to break out of your shells. You say you put all of this time into these things, as if that means something - All it means is that if you were airbrush vs. pencil tool your sigs.. no, your art - would be MUCH better. All this hard effort really only prooves that you encase your talents within the limits of these pixels style... and even in just doing signatures. I don't know them all cause I'm a noob. And the fact that you can say you made such a wicked looking thing in the most basic of programs; MS Paint is alot cooler than saying you made it in PhotoShop. have you ever heard of a wonderful new thing on the internet, called downloading? And what if he has a 56k? Tried downloading 700megs on a 56k modem with one phone line? And downloading is well, illegal, nice work, kinda like walking passed a sterio shop and going, hmmm, I'd like that sterio. Lets just take it without paying, theres nothing wrong with that! Yay, lets support communism, let's download software off the internet! Moron. You twit. He never said to do it illegally. I have to run to school, but I will edit this later. I myself have a boughten legal version of photoshop 5, 6, 7 and CS. ive also got legal copies of autocad, maya, and macromedia MX studio, and the whole adobe CS studio too. if you have to resort to downloading warez, then it is illegal, sure, but not really. it is technically the file sharer's fault. whoever is sharing it is giving it to you. besides, everyone does it. I get lots of warez...except photoshop and macromedia studio, I actually have cd's for those. also, downloading music is legal here in canada :wink: dont forget you can get a educational/student deal on most programs, I do all the time, sometimes getting them free. on the more expensive programs, sometimes you can get $1000 knocked off. But most of the things that are made arn't realy 'art' or 'pixel art'. I don't realy like the 'trend' cause there are to much people that try while they can't do anything good. I think it is most 'art' forms at tip it are beautiful, the shame is it gets overused when its new and then it kind of dies. [edit] All the check out my newest sig, took me x-minutes!
