Does jagex have any plans to make better graphics in runescape ever? Like the game is perfectly fine, But better graphics wouldent hurt at all. Does anyone know anything about possible grahpic updates?

Probbably just small changes like the imps, citys, etc

Jagex are currently upgrading graphics in older areas, like they did in Falador, next is Varrock. They also update the older quests with new graphics to. Monsters are also having graphical upgrades.

If Jagex doesn't want RS to be totally eclipsed by new games, they're going to have to improve the graphics. They've been getting better steadily, though (dragons, demons, giants, rats, bears, imps, soon spiders and sheep), and I'm sure that that trend will continue. The facial features of the main NPC in the Enlightened Journey Quest were remarkably detailed as well.

Probably, but they are getting to their limit with a Java based game...

have u perchance been reading the updates or paying attention to things? they've made a graphical update EVERY MONTH. lately it was monsters, but they did city revamps. Rimmington faly..etc.

Jagex will eventually slightly upgrade but it will never be as good [graphic wise] as regular PC games. You have to remember how limited Java is. Runescape is very advanced for Java graphics.

I hope not. My computer struggles to run it smoothly as it is.

Anyways, I do hop they update Varrock soon, it's been promised for a loooong time.

Graphics... I wouldn't mind if they made their grahpics like F.E.A.R. or even like MGS. If jagex moved their little Towers in Japan I think we will see better graphics. Not advertising games they just got sick graphics. Since this is a JAVA game I don't expect much out of it til they update their langauge script in about 2-3 years. Maybe with graphics it would have nicer cutscenes. I can't wait til Varrock's update comes.

I dont really care for the graphics, I just hope they make it more interactive... its mostly point and click.

I'd like to see you do a high graphics version of Runescape using Java. Java is a complicated script that has certain limits. It will take a while before they do anything drastic. If at all, besides no point having great graphics if there isn't great content to match it.

I think if the graphics do ever get better, You will need to donwload something...........

But you have to remember, like other people have said, Runescape is a Java based game, and for Java Runescape is already advanced. Also, remember, that to play Runescape you have to download nothing (except Java, if you don't have it).
