I love looking at the past and how amazed we'd be by 16/32-bit games.

You may laugh, but Loom is still great today. They don't make 'em like that any more, as they say. So much effort went into its making - there was a huge backstory and so on. I don't know -- I'm not even sure games look that much better these days. Of course they look more realistic but not necessarily better. There's a certain sort of "fantasy" look that one doesn't really see in modern things. I put it down to having to use more of one's imagination when looking at the screen with old games.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It is interesting to think what we'd have thought back then if presented with a modern game, though. I mean, a modern game and a computer capable of running it.

i remember when gta 2 came out it was an awful game but rli funny lol the graphic really did suck compared to the likes of halo2 and newer games

Halo and Halo 2 are jokes of a game. Granted, the graphics are ok, but its a mockery of an FPS. -.-

U really shud - its gr8 - but it takes a while to get DosBox or Dfend or whatever set up to use it without major bugging or lag..

Oh yeah! Got the game downloaded! I play it occasionally, but I just don't get the controls enough. O.o

hehe this gives me an idea, games need more hot guys, so in MY RMXP game, all the guys will be half naked and hot , while the girls will be fully clothed :thumbsup:
