December 15, 200619 yr So you protested against people who have a different opinion about having fun on a GAME? The organisators are some of the saddest people I ever layed eyes upon in the whole history of RuneScape then. Thanks for getting me angry after only the first page! :x ... I'm guessing you're from one of those "No-Honor" clans? :| (Answer found to that on page 2... you apparently must be from how you're talking...) Anywho, I see the reason that many of the Top 20 got together. Clan support has been lacking (Part of the reason I haven't even tried to bring my clan [DeltaPrime -- Still alive on the other game today, but barely...] over from another game [Galaxis Online -- I personally retired after events in May 2006] onto RuneScape yet...) and this issue needed handling... :? BTW, people may have different opinions on how to play a game, but that doesn't give any person (or group of people) the right to shut down new ideas and expansions. So in this particular case, the "No-Honor" clans were way in the wrong. (And so are you for being nasty in this thread like this. People have a right to enjoy RuneScape as they see it best.) Even if I were anti-clan, I wouldn't do this kind of nastiness against the Top 20. I'd just leave them be to their stuff. If they want to have clan support, that's fine by me. I just won't take advantage of the option. That's my $20.00 of personal thoughts on the matter. ~Mr. D. V. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)
December 15, 200619 yr Lol... that was pretty cool but im still kinda :? Be happy! Imagine if this expansion became BOTH P2P and F2P!!! Total Clan Happiness!!! \ : 8-) Could whistle a tune on it! :-w ~Mr. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... December 16, 200619 yr First off: I'm going to say one word about those no honor clans: Idiots. Thank you. Now, onto more constructive things: This looks like a good idea, but I think most people could've predicted what would've happened when it was posted as a clan event type thing. If a few people from a few clans showed up and kindly asked to talk about clan support after the P-mod meeting, I don't think the problem would've expounded on itself on the way it did: P-mod meetings are for p-mods. (No, I'm not one), which is why they're called "P-mod" meetings. This is all the clans involved's combined fault. The no honor clans for crashing and acting immature, the major clans for going about this in a "try to get a big bang and get enough attention to make it clear that change is wanted". The no honor clans were using the big clans to try to make just as big of a splash and show their ideas.... So both sides were in the wrong. Since big clans can have well organized smaller groups, it might've been better if one or two high ups came in from a few clans, and lower down a group of about 10 from the various clans at various levels of clan placement could've waited and discussed the idea. It would've been more organized, and if the people were hand picked, there'd be much less chance of them causing so much of a ruckus, and it'd be much harder for crashing clans to become involved. Just my thoughts: and clan support is needed. As a former clan leader, I can attest to that.
December 16, 200619 yr ooohh... where was this? I agree, I quit all clans because I didnt quite fit in to the clan mentality (I hunt all the time nver anything much different) so.. can they really do that with drag chains? I'll show you how terrifying a true Christian can be!It's Xewleer: ZEW le ar, got it memorized?Hermit of the Varrock Library and its proud guard.
December 16, 200619 yr Omg, those kids just don't know when to draw the line! Pretty much what Dragon said.Thread terminated.I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator? No Tip.Iters were harmed in the making of this post.
December 16, 200619 yr Author ooohh... where was this? It was on the top deck (the poop deck) of the Void Knight Boat.
December 16, 200619 yr It was on the top deck (the poop deck) of the Void Knight Boat. P2P territory. Dang. :( Must be a nicely-designed spot, though. :P Off-Topic: BTW, you had to pop that "(the poop deck)" name??? :| *groan* :-X ***feels sick now from reading that*** ~Mr. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... December 16, 200619 yr Actually this story has a darker side. The information leak happened due to a group of people. 9 hours before the meeting, they destroyed the main system of the teleportation security. They teleporetd trought the main security walls and even the high security creatures didn't sence enything. inside, tehy went straight to teh main controls room. even teh slightest movement in taht room could have cause alarm, but tehy moved very stealthy. They closed in to teh main server of runescape. they stole the information and store it into an orb. tehy sold the information to Honorless clans for a very big sums of money. They had penetrated "JaGeX Towers". This pretty much sums it up..... The clock is ticking, and your time is running out, mortals.
December 17, 200619 yr you guys take video games much to seriously It depends on the person to how serious he or she takes the game. Let everyone have their own opinions & likings.. *-P.K.M-* Website
December 17, 200619 yr I find this topic extremely funny.....gotta love tip it and their posts, anyway, I think clan support would be cool and it was sad, yet funny, how they crashed your meeting. The only clan I ever owned was k2o on rsc, level 5 mages ftw and we lasted like 2 weeks before no one would go on pking trips lol
December 17, 200619 yr can they really do that with drag chains? I'm pretty sure they can. I have a game sort of like RuneScape, and it has two create item options. 1: like the golf in the basement of west varrock bank. Continuous respawn. 2: one time appearance.
December 18, 200619 yr The mods can do everything they want if they know how to use the Jmod commands -_- I know because i friend of mine had a friend who played in a private server and was a "Jmod" in that, they just type the correct code and viola, the item magically appears...Along with many other stuffs like bank, fishing spots, etc... However, i say no to the private servers and if you want to go and play in aprivate server think about it two times because it is against Jagex rules and you may get Keyloggued or infected by malware/spyware, so better say no to thos practices and be happy with our runescape because there is no honour on having 1k of praty hats in a private server -_- http://darkluniux.blogspot.comBehold my blog! December 19, 200619 yr A few questions: How does everyone know Hulme? is he in charge of Pmod affairs or something? Which clans are in the "Top 20"? What are "No-honor" clans? -Bama Roll Tide Roll!
December 19, 200619 yr Yes, it was a pmod meeting actually; Sorry to burst your little bubble of thought there. My bad.... I don't keep up to date on pmod gatherings anymore Np ^^ I never do either @_@ Legendary F2P Skiller
December 20, 200619 yr Author A few questions: How does everyone know Hulme? is he in charge of Pmod affairs or something? Which clans are in the "Top 20"? What are "No-honor" clans? -Bama How does everyone know Hulme? is he in charge of Pmod affairs or something? - Not really but he is seen in-game a lot Which clans are in the "Top 20"? Fear 19.Demonic Empire 20.Nemesis And no honor clans are clans that are made to crash clan events and run, tele, pray, etc. Mostly it's a no respect clan.
December 20, 200619 yr you know before this i never had been part of the clan idea in RS, i used to run a clan on a FpS known as Day of defeat but never saw the point of clans on RS... But this topic has opened my eyes, if thats how people enjoy this game then so be it and with something as difficult to organise as a clan (for those who know, forums, MirC, TS and others can be such a pain...) any help jagex can give can't hurt. It musn't however be given at the expense of the average joe as there are a lot more non clanners in RS (correct me if i'm wrong) but im certain it can be implemented successfully Also, having seen the action of these no-honour clans (easily likened to map exploiters and lamers on FPS clans) I find myself supporting the normal clans good luck to you! =D>
December 21, 200619 yr Those are some of the funniest screen shots i have ever saw in runescape. I was wondering why zezmia didn't raise hunter, he was off helping jmods out of a stupid situation. I am saving some of those picture, just because.

While I agree that asking nicely would have been a more proper way of doing things I don't think that an impact could have been made with out this "little" protest :). Mods have no doubt had people ask them about clan support here and there but its easy to shrug off one person. When 1000+ people come onto a boat for one reason..... it leaves a message. Im quite impressed on how you can actually protest a game in that game, for runescape "politics." http://hiscore.runescape.com/index_lite ... =sirob1414
December 23, 200619 yr wow, the randoms part surprised me.... And, looks like zezi is too powerful lol I just found out that Hulme didn't summon the randoms but the server was maxed and the randoms went crazy. (this was said by Hulme) but I know jmods can summon randoms anyhow.. I would think.. its there game right? :P Jmods are the downright runescape gods, They can change their levels and generate items. If they wanted to they could get a one shot kill 99 with flowers in non wildy. THEY CAN DO ANYTHING!!!
December 23, 200619 yr Wow, I had no idea such a thing happened. This is the first time I ever saw something like this. RS Player Since 2006
