If anyone else has just seen the Uk show of X-Factor, they will know that Leona has won. I haven't really been following the show much, but listening to her tonight, I think that some of the major world supertars have their work cut out to compete with her!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She is the first woman to reach the final of X-Factor anywhere in the world, consequently the first woman to win it. Singing 'I will always love you' tonight, she was just absolutely phenomenal. Leona has now won a ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã1Million record deal, and her single (which is just awesome) is tipped to be the UK Christmas number one.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pop critics have said for a long time that Britain will never produce a world class singer that can compete with the likes of Mariah, Whitney Housten, but I think we have now found her.

I hate that program normally, the auditions are a freak show and the eventual winners tend to sound like every other generic "has a voice but nothing special" popstar nowadays, and are forgotten quickly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But my sister was watching it last night and I was in the background, and wow, Leona really does have a voice. She clearly deserved to win, I don't know how far she'll get but that girl really does have a special voice.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I just hope her single really tests her voice like those two songs did, it's when she performs at her best.

You cannot be serious, EuroVision is a complete joke nowadays, nobody that goes on it can sing, the only real reason to watch it is a bunch of Macedonian girls in short skirts attempting to sing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In any case, this Leoanna will probably be forgotten in a few monthes like so many of the people that alledgedly had the 'x factor'. Face it, the only point of those shows is the phone-ins, thousands/millions of people ring who they want and the producers make millions. Perfect illustration of corruption. However more people vote for these shows than they do the general election so what does that tell you about the country.

No, half the singers can't sing, the rest can. Usually the majority pick weird songs to perform. :P

Actually, that is complete rubbish, 26.4 million people voted in the 2001 General election, the total number of votes for Saturday nights show was 8 million, and you can be sure as hell that it wasn't 8 million different people voting.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And as for Reality TV shows, some of the winners do take off, statistically though the runenrs up have as good a chance as the winners at 'making it'. Lemar was runner up, Liberty X were runners up, however Will Young was the winner (but has since faded somewhat), Girls Aloud were winners (I think), but they are the only ones to really come out with anything. Granted then, that the likes of Shane Lynch, Gareth Gates, G4, One True Voice and Hear'Say have all faded into nothingness.

8 million in one night granted, however its been going on for about 12 weeks. Hardly complete rubbish afterall 8 million times by 12=96 million which is of course > 26.4 million.
