You prolly just started to hate school because i bet you got really mad at a teacher and now your letting us know your feelings about how you think school sucks. Well let me tell ya', i think you suck. So what if people are goth. Let people be who they want to be and who ever you want to be should be shot. Ok maybe not shot but they should atleast be put in a cage or something. -.- You=A piece of what we sweedish call a pile of shiz nit. We=People who dont care about how people want to be. People who do what we want to do or dress how we want to dress without being a shiz nit about everyone. In my school, each year is separated into 2 groups: The A group and the B group. The A group gets alot more out of the school than the other one. I'm on the B side and the other students doesn't realise the privilege they have. I've asked our headteacher and she said that the 2 groups were separated randomly but I've asked all my other teachers and they've been saying that the other half was way ahead of us. We're already 2 weeks worth of work behind them and the school still ain't doing anything about it. We're having to stay after school just to finish our work when they've finished theirs 3 weeks ago! It's soo unfair on us. The attitude of some people doesn't help either Apparently, the B group is 90% low leveled people and 10% smart. They're trying to make the other students learn more by making us stick with them and the work we get is sooo easy. It just doesn't work. Sorry for the long post but I just had to take that out of my head :wall: I know I'm not the person in the worst situation here but I seriously can't keep it to myself now. It seems like you are an above average student, and what is odd, is that above average is the to 5% of the school basicly. The teacher needs to teach things to the lower than average people, and they can't really do much else. Provide for the upper percent, do badly on benchmarks with the others, bore the upper percent and get better grades on the benchmarks.... I'm going to be a teacher, and I've been helping out one of the recent graduats at my work, and it's amazing how little the kids try. A simple project (reading a paper that has all the information and then answering the multiple choice on the back) Most of them don't finish, and very few of them get over 50%.... The teachers have to keep dumbing things down all the way through high school. Ya, see it is not that I am above average and the teachers are holding me back. Sure I get like As and Bs, but I'm not brilliant. All I'm saying is that teachers should teach the subject, not irrelevant crap like moles about mols. Some people don't mind being called goth or emo. :wink: People should get a right to act how they want and call themselves what they want. If they take goth or emo offensively, however, nobody calls them that. Some people (I pity these people) just don't care... I'm unique. Not a stereotype. If you're talking about the fact that discriminating against people for what they wear is wrong, then you're right. What we hate about you is how you complain. I would be more in favor of like reforming the school systems, i dunno, it would take a lot of thought and time to come to a really good solution. That is a job for someone else.
