The game was made by the English, hence censors are for the english language. If you read the Agreement thing that you had to say I Agree to when you made your account, you wouldn't have made this thread. Now, not to be a hypocrite, I didn't read it, but common sense would tell you that the censor is for the english language, censoring another language's words is expected, as some words in another language are comepletely acceptable in that language, but may appear profane or obscene in english.

dosent the bill of rights basicly be a list of human rights? anyway it is a english game it might be bad in some cases but then they shouldnt play the game or atleast learn common english or use a translator

Jagex are English. The game and website are written in English. Thus, the censor is for English. Shut up about 'human rights' - Spanish words being censored in an ENGLISH censor works. -___-

well I for one can understand his frustration. I had 2 people in my clan once and they where both from brazill. I had to use a translater to understand one of them and half the time the words where cencerd. I have an easy enough solution to the problem, If jagex wants to start investing in non english speeking countrys then they should have language specific servers.

Language specific servers would be nice, although there sort of is already. Servers in Brazil are obviously for Brazillians. Alot of people learn English through Runescape, too. Those who learn English can then speak to anyone. I do realise many do wish to speak their native language due to the fact that they speak it much better than English, but the game's censor is way too messed up as it is.

runescape is coded in english. jadex is an english company. i agree the censor sucks, but jadex have not commited a crime against humanity by censoring some spanish words and giving you a black mark for saying them, and your human rights have not been breached. Although i do think jadex should implement some foreign speaking servers, they are under no moral or legal pressure to.
