Ahhh.. this took me AGES.

About 15 hours to be exact, not all at once though of course.. :P

There are two terragen renders in this, and about 60-70 layers.

I feel I should add the image tags here so no clicking has to be done.

NOTE: Everything in this image was made by me! - Even the landscape/planet. (for those of you think this is a stock + text) =P

I'm actually surprised that it only took 15 hours  Seems like it would have taken a lot longer.

Very nice work my friend! Only one crit - the clouds. They don't look natural, they looked brushed over the top and not natural, they don't flow with the surroundings. Awesome peice though, well worth the effort

Maybe it's just me, but it looks like you've sharpened up one area a little too much  The middleish "mountain" at the very top. It looks very pixellated now

imo it looks better, I tried blurring it slightly but I just got the same result as before. Which looked horrible.

It should look a bit pixelated tbh, it shows texture. And helps depth.

Thanks for the c/c, I'll try to fix it up a bit.

The fogginess really adds a certain touch.

I hardly see any terragens anymore in this forum.

What a refresher! :)

In the event that the weighted companion cube does speak, the Enrichment Center urges you to disregard its advice.

Ah, another lovley piece of work. Fantastic. Only flaw that caught my ee was the peak of the middle mountain. If it's meant to be above the clouds, maybe make it seem a little more mistier where the two meet?

9/10.(The mountain peak takes away the vital point. :( )

That's very, very nice. Can't say anything else, except 'free sig plox' <.< I've never learned to use terragen. 15 hours is a long time tough, but the picture is absolutely brilliant. That's one of the best graphic thingys i've ever seen here. Not personal for anyone else :-$

I'm very interested in seeing the origional terragen file met :) Wanna see how much you change it up in photoshop yourself.

As far as the image, its looking nice. You have the transition done quite well, for one.

my largest crit is the planet. Compared to the Terragen scene the planet just isn't near as high quality. I'd sugest checking out alyns deviantart page, he has some great guides there that tell you plenty about making a planet. [not more so a guide but a guideline book].

Other than that, I like it. My favorite part, however, is deffinitly your terragen work. I'm loving the mountain and the entire scene is very atmospheric.

btw, you and me may have to do a colab sometime, perhaps. I haven't made a planet in forever though ;p, but a terragen colab = mucho likly.

Yes, Nadril.

I'd love to do a collab with you, I've seen your work and I think it's great.

And about the top of one of the mountains.

It is a castle so the grass is greener than the rest, shows that people actually live there.. in the middle of... no where. :P

Alrighty, here's the first original. I had to erase parts to add water and better lighting etc.

The other one is merged with the planet at some of the sky so I've already edited beyond the original. :(

Next time I'll keep my terragen originals seperatly.

ridges of the cliffs are too sharp, and it just makes me feel the perspective is off between the planet and cliffs.... the cliffs are at the forefront yah? and so is the planet, and the wind flows from the planet and down to the cliffs and it just kinda puts the perspective off imo.
