Coal bug (rock color)

I have a big problem when i am mining coal. You know when it should turn black when you are able to mine coal, it does not do that for me! It stays the same color all the time, like a brownish color or something as if it were not any ores to mine there. This only happen with coal rocks! On all the other rocks (tin, copper, iron, mithril, adamantite) i CAN see the colors.

How do i fix this bug? Pleeease someone help

thanks //david

Do you have an LCD screen? That might be it.. just get at eye-level with the screen, or try moving your head around to see. My friend has a similar problem with Black D-Hide armour; he can't see the lighter-black splotches on it. It all appears to be one colour to him.

It's probably just your monitor...

Hey guys

I appreciate so much that so many people replies to this, I've been away for holiday and im sorry that i haven't replied to your comments..

Captainkidd I tried your steps, it does not work. Still the same problem

Actually I have three computers at home, two stationary and one non-stationary. One of the stationary computers has a pretty flat screen and the graphic card is really good. The other computer is less good but still good, and the non-stationary is better than the less-good computer.

NOW - I have tried runescape with all of these three computers, THE PROBLEM REMAINS ON ALL OF THEM :'(

dunno what i should do, Jagex doesn't respond to my problem..

I'm soon out of hope :( :P

I am totally sure i am mining coal. I do manage to get obtain coal sometimes, and i can see them in the inventory. And when i obtained those coals they have always been grayish, and i have tried mining at other places and i tried setting brightnes all the way - the problem remains! Still this only happens with coal!
