I've done hundreds of runs through the abyss. I've never run into a single pker that could get me at 126 cb. Today, I've managed to die 3 times. I told some of my friends and they';ve been scouting worlds. There seem to be players between 115-124 on almsot every server abyss pking today. I'm wondering, is there a reason for this?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My only guess would be that since its christmas day, there arent many people wondering around in the deep wild to pk. Therefore, high levels are stooping to abyss pking to satisfy there player killing urges.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm curious as to what your theories for this are. Its very out of the ordinary...

I've spent almost 4 hours total today getting pouches back. I guess today would be a good day to get 71 hunter. Its NEVER like this, I've never seen it like this.

I think ill spend today getting between 66-71 hunter, been meaning to do it, will get 2000 total too :)

I wonder why... probably your theory of them needing to relieve their pking urges.

It is true that it is rarer to see higher levels RC PKing, but not unheard of. I've made about 500k nats or so in the Abyss and see a couple lvl 120+s from time to time. It's usually because they're "bored" I gather. Or because they think they'll get it easy. Most RCers lvl 90-110 or so are very cautious. They bring one click teles, sometimes food, prayer pots, etc. Whereas 120+s are usually confident and feel very safe. So I'm guessing those PKers reckon that they'll get a few easy glories, because very few of the high level RCers actually bring teleports :P

I brought teleports, I was teleblocked. I've never seen this many before, They just all poped up today...

Well the PKers still could be thinking "easy kill" because I know many 120+s who RC and don't bring teles. Or for all we know, it could be a bunch of bored friends who spread themselves out over a couple worlds for some RC PKing. Or just a random coincidence.

Good theory accept you stereotype the high level players too much. It seems to me that the low to middle class players are usually the ones like that. It doesnt take much time to get high level, it just takes sticking to one thing whenever your online rather then jumping around :)
