Apparently none of you can multiply correctly....

300cats x 100deaths= 3,000deaths

3,000deaths=900,000gp

^^WTF?^^

Well hunting is fun (in my opinion) and it's easy to level once you get over around 15-20. Anyways, I have them and I think they are worth it. You are like 33% better?... That's my opinion while ive been trying it out. That's not fact though, just in my experience. :)

From what I hear, they're very useful. I'd go ahead and get the Hunter level required. It's not that hard, really.

Do some tests without them first, then do some with them, and compare.

It's good to train Hunter. Once you hit... 30 methinks, you can start training on Green Salamanders in the Swamp southeast of Canifis. They're good experience until you get to Chinchompas.

33% better? Please get this confirmed through some decent amount of thieving with and without gloves..

Personally, I think the gloves are pretty disappointing. They wear off fast (disappear) and i cant notice a clear difference in failrate. I would guess 5%, 10%max improvement..

I've read several posts on this on RS OF, wherein people tested it out over 500-2000 attempts.

Improvements of 2-4% were the norm. Worth the trouble? Meh...

i think its more of a prestige thing... like i got this level and i ot this thing!

I heard of the gloves, and merrily went off to get the hunter level, I was really disappointed. Yes, they do disappear, they only last a short time, and I cant say I noticed any difference whilst wearing them at all, so got my 99 without.

Obssesive compulsive - not me, I`m just totally addicted to RS :D

Yes, after a certain amount of fails, they will break. But no worries, because the skins needed to make the gloves are laying around the training area in piles and piles. I just grabbed a load full and made the gloves. I don't notice a big difference on highest level theiving. Didn't help me a smack on Hero.

They do after a while when pickpoketing, I got the hunter level but they're not really worth it.
