The tutors don't really help. They would if noobs actually went to them, but the odds and actual percentages of noobs who go to them are very few, and it's just a small portion of the noobs who come in without a clue. Good idea, the premise is there, but like the Stronghold of Security, it really doesn't help.

Tetris is about using the equal force of the working power to build up the glorious people's republic of Russia....

Why should they be removed? Do they prove any harm or annoyance to high levelers? No. Do they help low levels? Yes.

Why would they not be good? :?

By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( .

are you guys talking about the lumby guides? those have been there for a while haven't they? :-s :-k

Yeah, but the original poster joined New Years Eve, so he wasn't in the forums when they released the update. I dont think theres any current topic on this either.

I think they're ok, the combat ones especially to raise pures.

They dont cut down the noob population by a lot though, but it has worked to an extent, like SoS.

It's a good update in itself, but you can see for yourself the vast majority who even used them were NOT new players.

"300 programmers make their futile but glorious last stand against 1000000 angry players in The battle of Misthalin. They fight for honor, glory and new content sacrificing themselves so that their game may live on. This is Madness! This Is JAGEEEX!"

When you are done with the tutorial island... You dont land outside the doors to the castle... You come to that guy with his big staff with a question mark on it.

For the people that come from Runescape.com? They probably do help... for miniclippers who are used to being spoon fed their games... They really don't matter...

What has become of the runescape community???? :wall:

They should teleport the noobs right to them as soon as they leave Tut Island, and then torture them until they understand the concepts of the game. 'Twould be fun to watch.

I agree, and like others have said, it would reduce the noob population by quite a percentage, although if a noob starts out as a scammer, no amout of tutors can cure that.
