Mollerz
Do you have a communicator to call out the information? The attacker does this after killing all of the monsters. Do you have 2 Healers instead of 2 attackers? ALWAYS have this. What does your Collector attack? Huh? :wall: Do you let someone else use the cannon? Always fire cannon at runners as does everyone else. Does your Attacker kill the melee or range first? Range. More deadly because of longrange. I have tactics but they would take too long to explain ad I'm tired =P Click my signature for my blog!
Rebdragon
Rules: I don't go with anyone under 80 combat, unless they really know what they're doing. Under 70 combat is right out. I don't like to go with an attacker under 90 combat, as then I basically spend the whole game babysitting them and tending to their wounds. Advice: I don't quite agree with this advice. I have outscored EVERY single player over level 90 I have played with, and even at level 67, I tend to need less healing than the rest of the team. This is not like PC where a lower level will hinder the team. At the KBD or KQ, a lower level might die increasing the bounty for everyone (unless you return the dropped stuff). Skill at your position is the only thing necessary here. Would you rather play with a level 120 who got to the queen with 30 points? Or with a level 67 who got over 200? That's why it's labeled "rules", and not "advice" . To be honest, their not really rules for people, just personal rules. I suppose I can handle one 70 or even maybe a 60 on the team, but more than one and it's really just not worth it. I end up healing for 10 minutes nonstop, then someone dies and it's all for nothing. Now, I'm sure there are effective and smart lower levels in the game, but I prefer to not take my chances. Buckeyemange
Remember, if a defender is a step from killing a runner, DON'T SHOOT THAT RUNNER! I want my points, so if I have a runner near a trap, wait a few seconds and let me kill it. Also, as a level 3 defender, I always use the horn of glory after all runners are dead, to take some pressure off of my allies. If someone is there, I use the egg launcher. If you must shoot the runners, use stun eggs, so I can get the points. The GES, the only clan ruled by a Goat. "How did it start? I mean, did one kid just yell out lets have sex!"" Wilmot
General rules A high lvl team in general makes things much easier. I'd steer clear of anyone under 70 as at the later waves they can take a beating, especially vs queen. Not saying it's impossible with lower lvls, just easier without. Also in general higher lvls have played rs a bit more and are just plain better at it. Patience. Can be annoying getting a team sorted to begin with but worth the time to get a good one. Also don't snap at people if they make a mistake in a game, doesn't benefit anyone. If you do end up with a truly hopeless team then just politely leave. 1/2 att ----> Only have 2 attackers if they are low level, otherwise it's a waste. 1/2 def ----> The best option if you have a good team, though finding 2 defenders is a pain. 1 collector 1/2 healer ----> The usual best mix. As healer's have two jobs to do it allows one to concentrate on healing and and other on poisoning. Attacker This is easily the most stat-dependant role. I'd suggest 100+ combat for this ideally, 90+ as a must. Barrow armour is also a plus though far from essential. Mistakes are penalised HEAVILY as an attacker. Any more than one mistake and its -1 point per mistake. To make sure you do not use the wrong attack, stop attacking when it's about to change. When it changes, quickly update the collector, (hopefully) receive a speedy update from him and get back to killing. With a high lvl attacker you can take your time and still not be the last to finish. Best to take a bit longer and make no mistakes than try and race though and get half a dozen. When your done, make sure you keep calling eggs quickly, they are needed to pick off runners. Havn't played other classes enough to say much about them. homer205
Roles 1 Attacker - The higher combat the better, no lower than 90. 1 Collector - Just decent defence/hits. 1 Defender - Just decent defence/hits. 2 Healers - Good defence, agility and hits. Attacker Go after the rangers but don't specifically hunt the down unless they are attacking you off screen, your wasting time running around. Unless your collector is really bad at updating you then don't bother trying different attack styles, you might as well on the higher waves if your collector doesn't update at all else somebody will probably die. Update the collector whenever you can. Collector Update the attacker, follow him around untill you get some eggs, deposit them. Don't shoot, other people can do that. Healer Set up a healing spot for people to run when they are getting low health (the best of these is right beside the pool) Have one healer stay here to take care of healing and one running around healing people they notice have low health and killing the penance healers. Both of you update the defender. Defender Other than updating the healer I have no idea how to do this well. Try somebody elses strategy for it. Whenever anybody finishes their job go to the cannon and shoot the penance in the order runners>healers>rangers>fighters. Another tactic could be to purposely not wear armor in the early waves so the healers can heal you more. The more the healers heal, the more points everybody gets. Is there a cap on the amount of experience you can get for this? If not you could just get to like wave 5 where you are getting hit a bit of damage but with a good team not life threating and all wear weak/no armour and attacker turn autoretaliate off, wait for ages and heal lots then complete the wave for the good experience, it wouldn't even matter about the runners escaping. Antaeus
Another tactic could be to purposely not wear armor in the early waves so the healers can heal you more. The more the healers heal, the more points everybody gets. This doesn't really work in higher levels because you die. :-$ Also, the only safe spot from attacks is near the horn of glory. Use it wisely :D Its not a time based game, so if you can get points for healing.. why not kill all the runners first.. and then let all the other monsters stay alive pounding you for a good 10-30 minutes and have the healers heal you.. maximize your points and then complete? So many flaws, lol. :-k #-o ~Defender~ I believe there are 'caps' to the amount of points you can earn per 'task' or 'penalty' per wave. As a defender, the maximum amount of points that were taken away for runners getting past was 10. (so it was a loss of 3 points per defender up to a maximum of -10pts at the end). I'm sure other roles have similar caps. (Apologies if this was already posted). Amen to that! Please leave the Runners be!

imaerehw14
1 collector, 1 attacker, 1 defender, 2 healers. basically, everyone does their roll, but the healrs split jobs. first, they both run out and kill all the healers in the first 30 seconds to a minute, then once splits off and starts healing, while the other mans the cannon. this is usually rounds 1-7. rounds 8-10 are another story. both healrs run out, kill healers, and both start to heal. on the final stage, they run out fast and kill all healers. when the queen pops up, everyone runs back to healing pool. this is where it gets tricky. one healer is to stay at the pool and heal the attacked and defender, while the other healer runs after the collector, healing him on his journey. whent he egg is passed, the healer always follows the person with the egg, which helps the person running. it works pretty well. doomy
We use 2 healers. 1 is the communicator/healer killer, the other heals. I'm usually well both because i like them both but this is when i'm not healer. Lvl 5 healer btw. Usually I quit if the defender doesn't call. I also quit if the people don't bring real armour....You'd think they'd figure out they die faster without armour.... I don't worry about people low lvls unless they have 30- hps.
