A good friend back in my newb member days was telling me about merchanting masks. He said he were selling them for 20M. At the same time I saw a green Jungle mask thing and told the guy how much was it. He said 80k? I was like, "Holy crap free Money!!" So I bought it thinking it will make me millions. :opps:

was something like : change your password to "money" and press F1 (or F2, a key that i dont remember) it will make your screen dizzy (it actually did :ohnoes: ) Then he simply said press alt+f4 and you can guess the rest.

Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.

I believed strength potions raised your strength permanently. Also thought that yellow party hats were crowns.

You need 99 crafting to trim armour lol

Someone said that to me. By the time I thought of checking the highscores, he was gone. Didn't fall for it, though, but spent about 10 minutes shouting "There is no way to trim armor!" "The only way you can get it is by doing treasure trails!" Should've just looked him up on the highscores. Oh well. At least I managed to report him.

+1

Apparently none of you can multiply correctly....

300cats x 100deaths= 3,000deaths

3,000deaths=900,000gp

That once every few months, zezima would come out of hiding and give 30 gp to every one so they could go to karajama and that was the only way to get there... [ Lol, a guy told me this when I was level 12 ]

Tetris is about using the equal force of the working power to build up the glorious people's republic of Russia....

When I was level 30 or so, I was told that Steel Helms could be trimmed. I worked for 1 and a half hours to get the $ for that at the Barbarian Shop, to find that he scammed me.

I was told that using one-hundred Cheese with rune armor would make it Gilded.

I was told that potting from 58 att, I could wield whip. I tried it, and it didn't work #-o

I was told that Thieving could actually steal people's items. I was in awe.

And last, I was told that icing for cakes could be made from milk + frosting + red dye. They said frosting was made from dropping milk on Ice Mtn. and picking it up after a 15 second wait. Also, you could add Candle's, and he offered me 6 for 1k ea. I bought them, tried it all and it didn't work.

"Dr. Lutzka, Dr. Lutzka, He's a fake!"

Well, I didn't believe this, which made this conversation awkward, but a friend once told me this:

I was complaining one day to him about the troubles of making money (before I got a, uh, humongous? Gigantic? Supermegagiganto? monetary gift) and I said that I wanted some expensive armor (barrows or something). I told him how much it cost and he condescendingly told me how that was pocket change to him, then proceeded to tell me how he earned money...

He said that he would kill monsters until they dropped uncompleted holy books, and then he would go into the wilderness and somehow complete them and sell them for millions. You can see why this is wrong...

I told him that you couldn't do that, that the books are untradeable and you can only get one of them, and that you could only get the pages from Treasure Trails.

Slightly amusing though...
