January 10, 200719 yr Say NO To Animal Fur. I want to know what you think about animal fur. Some people may say it part of life killing animals just like lions killing deers. We have to do to survive.Although a lion wont kill a deer just for its horn to scratch its back, they only kill it for food, so why are we killing animals just to warm us up.Im not saying dont use the fur if you killed the animal for food.Just why kill an animal just for fur :?: In the time ive done this topic ive noticed quite alot of people have sed they have fur clothing, Im from England and fur is quite rare here.So if you do own fur can you say what country you come from because i want to know how common fur is in other countries. This is a discussion topic,NOT an insult if you dont agree topic.(Informing people after insults to me and other people posting on this topic)And i am not some animal extremist. ~Dark~ Runescape - Currently In-active and a cancelled membership due to a broken computer and a cabbage laptop!2xBarrowsReward1600SkillTotalReached|08/05/2010(Previously 'Darkknightider', wow that was a bad name :p)

January 10, 200719 yr hey..that thread about hats on animals disappeared pretty quick...a mod must have deleted it :D I personally have no objection to fur AS LONG AS it was obtained in a humane way. I'm willing to bet that many of those about to flame me wear leather shoes, have a leather bag and eat sweets (often made from horse hooves, wewt) and so bring it PETA.

The skin will just rot anyway, why don't we make turn it into something useful. those furs we are talking about are from animals like ferret, fox....can't think of anymore. We don't even eat them.

What about if its a wild animal say a tiger that is endagered. Then fair enough, i change my point to include that sort of thing. Similarly with ivory, and rhino horn; both are very very wrong indeed. And cupcake, im fairly sure that most cows are breed specifically for the purpose of harnessing their skin. They have no choice in the matter, and if they werent usd for it, they would roam freely (until Maccy D's [i use that ironically btw, damned chavs...]came along)

January 10, 200719 yr well theyre made from plants, and theyre living things. If its ok to kill cows purely for food, why isnt it ok to kill rabbit purely for fur? there are other substitudes :? why kill innocent critters?? sheep wool is good enough
January 10, 200719 yr Author well theyre made from plants, and theyre living things. If its ok to kill cows purely for food, why isnt it ok to kill rabbit purely for fur? Cows are killed for leather as well and they are breed, although you have got point but i dont want to start talking bout why maybe we shouldnt kill animals for food and well thay taste nice.Anyway im more fucusing on endagered and proper wild animals not ,like rabbits wich can find in any old woods. ~Dark~ Runescape - Currently In-active and a cancelled membership due to a broken computer and a cabbage laptop!2xBarrowsReward1600SkillTotalReached|08/05/2010(Previously 'Darkknightider', wow that was a bad name :p)
January 10, 200719 yr Although I have nothing against eating meat, I think killing an animal just for it's fur is a bit rich (unless there heaps of them and they're a pest *cough* rabbits *cough*). people should use the whole animal. :D (I'm not sure if they do or don't).
January 11, 200719 yr So its alright for people to kill 20+ of ONE animal just for fur to make a coat when you can get a fake one... I hate any store that sells fur and anyone who wears it ~flame away Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....

People Eating Tasty Animals Sorry, had to say it. Btw, keep in mind, some people eat rabbits, and there are people that even eat snake and lizard meat, as long as the animal isn't endangered I don't really mind. ~^v^~Ex-Leader of the Divine Flames of Redemption~^v^~
January 11, 200719 yr Btw, keep in mind, some people eat rabbits, and there are people that even eat snake and lizard meat, as long as the animal isn't endangered I don't really mind.My family eats rabbit and Kangaroo fairly often; I supose. So it's pretty straight that I have no problem with anyone wearing the fur of animals - so long as they aren't endangered.
