January 13, 200719 yr I've had snake, alligator, frog, and tons of other parts of animals that you probably don't want to hear about. they are still going to die just depends when and how But if you're talking about animals who don't play with you etc, I get what you're saying, they'd just take up resources. I don't understand why people assume that animals live and die, contributing nothing to an ecosystem. It's not like they're born and then sit around, waiting to die. The interactions between different animals in an ecosystem keep it running (most of the time) -- humans just destroy things. ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring.
January 13, 200719 yr z0mg its PETA!!!!!! :ohnoes: It's very warm, and I mean, we eat al ot of the animals that the fur is made from, so why waste the fur?... No reason to waste it. However, if they are killing the animal JUST for the fur, sure, its a sad thing.
January 13, 200719 yr Someone very wise once said: People are more violently opposed to fur than to leather because it's safer to harass rich women than motorcycle gangs. (And btw, it's not the same to raise a dog for fun that to rise a big fat cow >>) PkmarioPorygon 64Black Charlizard
January 13, 200719 yr Animal fur makes good coats and hats, and I don't want to say no to that! You can also do loads more things with animal fur, like make rugs and blankets. Keeps you nice and warm. :-) "who eats cats?" I do. Taste like mutton. :
January 13, 200719 yr Author For people commonly posting on this forum i have edited first post please read. :) ~Dark~ Runescape - Currently In-active and a cancelled membership due to a broken computer and a cabbage laptop!2xBarrowsReward1600SkillTotalReached|08/05/2010(Previously 'Darkknightider', wow that was a bad name :p)
January 13, 200719 yr Ofcourse fur from wild animals is wrong. BUT to be against fur from breed animals, you have to be vegetarian. Otherwise you're just a hyprocite. I mean fur isn't neccesary, so is meat eating. And animals who are breed for fur mostly have had a better life then "meat-animals". A animal have to be in a pretty good condition to get good enough fur. I really doubt if Mc Donald's cows are that treatened that well. When everything's been said and done, more has been said than done. All skills 80+

January 14, 200719 yr Why? I say this to all vegetarians/people like you. Animals are raised for us to eat and use their furs. Plain and Simple. People wouldnt bother raising animals if we didnt eat or sell their furs, how many people do you know who raise animals "for fun" You gat bulls for bull riding, but thats cruels that not fun for them.People eat them aswel i dont no if they do.I cant think of anyhting that people just keep for fun accpet about what lawrence sed. ~Dark~ :twisted:You dont even want to know what they really do in bull fights... at lot worse things do and can happen then you think ~ NOT Dark  Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....
January 15, 200719 yr ya, animals that dont play with you like cows or chickens. who eats cats? Ever had a chinese take-away? (Please don't flame me for being racist or xenophobic. Yes, I know 99% of chinese restaurants are safe, healthy well-run establishments. But, I do have personal knowledge of one that was found to have seagull traps on its roof (by the Health Department) in the city where I lived. (And btw, it's not the same to raise a dog for fun that to rise a big fat cow >>) Just ask Jade Goody's mum. [/unreserved populist [bleep]iness] And animals who are breed for fur mostly have had a better life then "meat-animals". A animal have to be in a pretty good condition to get good enough fur. I really doubt if Mc Donald's cows are that treatened that well. Tell that to a Mink! Ever seen a Mink cage? Not a pretty sight. No wonder the poor buggers escape at every opportunity, to wreak havoc on the local ecosystem (blasted vermin...oh, wait, why were they there again?) I feel a rant coming on so I'll just stop here I think, except for this - when you kill an animal its dead. Do you think it cares what you do with its constituent parts afterwards? Does it really matter? In the end we either choose to kill animals for our own gain or leave them be. As for endangered species, several thousand square kilometres of rainforest is destroyed every year by loggers, so that we can have coffee tables to put our celebrity autobiographies on. Contained within that forest were hundreds of species of animal that became extinct before we even discovered their existence. The only difference is that none of them (probably) were cuddly. Why is 'common sense' so named, when there is so little of it about?Welcome to puberty, we've been expecting you.
January 15, 200719 yr Yoiu cant be for one type of fur, and against others. Otherwise you dont have any moral or ethical values backing you up, your just wanting to say something. It also seems as though you arent responding to any of the replies, you just sit there hoping for people to agree with you, and if they dont you change how you feel about it. That is what you call hypocritical, fickle, and annoying. I have a few fur trimmed coats, theyre warm, and i like how they look. Oh well. And what do you want us to do, make killing endangered animals illegal? Oh wait. What else can you do? The government sees it as being wrong. If people still do it, they try to stop them, if they cant, then they cant. It is impossible to stop everyone. thanks everyone for the sigs!

January 15, 200719 yr i see nothing wrong with fur, people complain about people killing small amounts of fur bearing animals while the McDonalds headquarters has a sign that counts how many burgers they served. when i was there it was over 1 billion. its just hippies making noise. oh and i don't own any fur coats (im a guy) but my mom owns like 12. the guy who lives around the block owns the biggest furrier around and at the end of the year has the nicest garage sale ever. lol btw mink and fox looks pretty

January 15, 200719 yr I dont understand why thinking that animals should be treated with just a little bit of respect makes someone a hippy. :? ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring.
January 15, 200719 yr Whilst I ignore this thread, I shall go out and eat a gigantic tasty hamburger. Lol... I too say NO to animal fur.. Its too itchy.. Nah jk

January 16, 200719 yr If a cow had a chance, it'd wear YOU and ALL your friends as a jacket. Don't think so. Cows are natural herbivores -- a grass jacket maybe, but definitely not a human jacket. ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring.

January 17, 200719 yr If a cow had a chance, it'd wear YOU and ALL your friends as a jacket. Don't think so. Cows are natural herbivores -- a grass jacket maybe, but definitely not a human jacket. Well they don't have to eat us to wear us. Just kill us and skin us. Oh and this is assuming cows also develop opposable thumbs.
January 17, 200719 yr I don't think a cow would want to wear human skin, they're cows, not humans, and to the best of our knowledge don't know what revenge is. And they hate anything that gets in the way of their nonstop grass-eating. Besides, human skin is a bit too itchy and doesn't keep you very warm. On the contrast, fur from furry animals is very warm and good-looking. Don't think of animals with human feelings and moods, that's anthromorphization, and it's wrong, just plain wrong.
January 17, 200719 yr Uh. You guys DO get the Simpsons reference, right? I was confused there for a sec. ;P It really has
January 17, 200719 yr Say NO To Animal Fur. I want to know what you think about animal fur. Some people may say it part of life killing animals just like lions killing deers. We have to do to survive.Although a lion wont kill a deer just for its horn to scratch its back, they only kill it for food, so why are we killing animals just to warm us up.Im not sayin dont use the fur if you killed the animal for food.Just why kill an animal just for fur :?: In the time ive done this forum ive noticed quite alot of people have sed they have fur clothing, Im from England and fur is quite rare here.So if ou do own fur can you say what country you come from because i want to know how common fur is in other countries. ~Dark~ are you [bleep]in [developmentally delayed]ed? Do you seriously think the only thing we use a deer for is their hide? And once we've skinned them.. we go out and burn them with oils that'll be sure to pollute our world? Give me a break - Only character in Runescape History maxed out in RSC and RS2
January 17, 200719 yr Can i wear fur if i eat the meat of the animal then? Back by popular demand! And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.
