in real life it takes strength to be a miner. so with every 20 strength lvls u hav u get a hidden bonus of 1 mining lvl. where did i come up with this reasoning? it might just be me but i mine alot faster when i have my pickaxe set to smash (agressive) rather then [bleep]e (accurate).

I agree, you shouldn't give out your rsn, mining pures would hunt you down in wildy by the dozens... good idea. But as for the attack method, it's not true.

The skills are seperate, but I don't think it would hurt to integrate them. After all, someone with 99 strength should cut yews faster then someone with 1 strength and the same woodcutting level...

Lets not get technical. The strength level indicates how much damage u do, not exactly how 'strong' u r. More like a metaphor. Thats why weapons give strength bonuses. Its not like they have muscles on them... :lol:...Besides, altho skills rnt 'integrated', many are sort of 'cooperative'. Many skills are set in pairs, like mining/smithing, woodcutting/firemaking(or fleching), fishing/cooking, etc.

teconol this is common sence streaght means how strong you are so hiting a rock harder should(break your pick more oftan :lol: ) open it up faster so you can get the ore(or smash it all togeter :lol: ) same as wcing you should be able to cut a tree down faster by how strong you are

whoa whoa wait a sec, i am training mining. im a lvl 3 skiller i was just thinking it would be unfair, cuz i saw my lvl 3 mining pure friend beat out a lvl 76 for some coal.

Yea I suppose. But if you want to get into thinking about rl mining, you need skill to find ores and to know how to mine them etc. Going to the gym and getting stronger everyday would not make you mine faster

Well i think most of you are missing the point, See your mining level isn't how strong you swing the pick, but with the SKILL that you have gained, you know where the perfect place to strike is, weather too much or too little force would get the ore sooner, stuff like that, It really doesnt matter how strong you are because mining a rock doesn't take that much strenght if you do it right.
