I would say there are easily several thousand high level meleers out there that do nothing but bank the runes they get from drops.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My question is -- do any of you have 1 million fire runes?

 

 

 

(If you've bought/traded for/MADE more than say... 5k fires it doesn't count!)

 

 

 

I'm talking fire runes purely* coming from monster drops.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I know I've been playing and collecting my runes a long time (about 2 years), and I'm only up a little over 140k fire runes. I'm sure some can easily double or even triple that...

I sell mine... I could easily have had 130k+ by now, but I only keep around 5k at a time.

Of course I know people sell em / use em / drop em / try to eat em! What I'm looking for are some pics of some serious collections of fire runes.

The OOOC have got over 2,000,000 cabbages, but ive only got 5k of a rune at once (gave away)

I just broke 100,000 fire runes about two weeks ago. :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I went to 85 slayer and got a ton of fire runes there, and I had a bunch more from previous training, and then I got my last few thousands by training on fire giants for a good amount of time. I haven't bought any of them. :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One million from pure training though...rather unlikely.

I used to do all my melee training at fire giants, I had about 230k fire runes when I sold them to some guy offering 20ea for all.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Around 10k of those were crafted so 220k from drops. Doubt that I have a pic unless they're in an old bank pic somewhere, I'll check and update later.

collected 810k in my 5-month-dust-devil-slaughter-a-thon also racked up 22k rune arrows and 1left half and last but not last 1 chain. sold the fires 15 ea, the arrows 350 ea, and the chain for 15.5m. made 12m and a bit of change off the fires, close to 8m for the arrows, and roughly 5m off alched drops. I made 41m alltogether.

I think the most I ever had of any rune was 150k and that was natures

I did have around 170k of Fire Runes from Fire Giants at one point, but I've used up quite a bit of 'm training magic (just checked, a mere 127k left right now :P). I'm nowhere near getting 1 million total of drops, though :P

Owned some 2 million feathers myself 3.5 year ago - from buying for merchanting purposes though. :P

I also had nearly 200k chaos before i used them to buy furies. Cant recall anything else, but I doubt I had any huge number of elly runes, but im sure theres air crafters with 8x craft who could manage 1 mill.

I've neared 100k fire runes, but I usually sell/donate my runes.

I had 248k at one point, but sold some. I got the vast majority of these from Dust Devils. Killed 21.5k of them. Believe it or not... I didn't get a single dragon chain though :(

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fire runes are mostly from fire giants some of em from dusties,gargoyles and greaters. Like 90% of air runes are from abyssal demons. 15,8mil slayer xp so far

No I do not have 1m fire runes. But I got a fair haul from killing Harpie Bug swarms though. Most drops... 75 fire runes... not too bad if you ask me. At the moment I have... 8k, but they serve no purpose to me as I use a fire staff and craft my own air runes ( x5 Multi Craft FTW!)

well someone a while ago crafted 1m fire runes so yes u can get 1 million in runes and he made himself a little bit of a profit... :shock:
