As a side note, some of the created Christmas crackers from the duping day wont contain a party hat at all. Ive seen crackers that were cracked on the test server before rs2 was even out that had no party hat.

I think this was proven ages ago, the drops arent determined until you open chest. I can recall several trips were I would open the chest and server would crash, and Id open it again with different results. It also means that each brother can drop any of the 24 possible items, the drops arent keyed to who you kill or when, its keyed to the chest and what you kill. Technically you could crash the server into giving you that Guth spear everytime. Open the chest, get whatever barrows item or items, then crash the server if you didnt get the ones you wanted. Come back, its like a chest reroll. To the first post---none of that data is a real surprise, its pretty much been known after the first barrage of tests ages ago. Leesters had similar odds on everything, just 1/12 for a barrows item. Not sure why people are still bothering with it...

I had about 50k bloods when i got banned, pretty much all from barrows... I also had nearly 200k chaos before i used them to buy furies. Cant recall anything else, but I doubt I had any huge number of elly runes, but im sure theres air crafters with 8x craft who could manage 1 mill. There are runecrafters with 100k's in natures as well. 2-3k natures an hour if I remember right. *goes back into hiding*

I never alched anything valuable, but I did drop a fury on ground. For some strange reason I thought it was a glory so went to rub it, dropped it, then rubbed the real glory ammy :D A few hours later "Hmm what happened to my fury?!!? Did I loan you my fury? OH DAMN I mustve dropped it!" Take 33k chaos runes out of my bank, "Could you please click a million times to sell these for my stone, I just dropped my fury..." Of course my friend did, she had done it about 10 times before for various people. But I know a lot of people who alched guthan spears. Drunk people. Always makes me laugh.

Not to mention the fact that sharks dont come in the number 10, the minimum is 13 I believe..;)

If someone does actually know your PIN you probably should/will be perm banned.... No offense to you, but I was perm banned for just mentioning account info (even though I never actually gave it...) No one has my PIN or password (and they can prove it through IP addys), and yet Im now off the high scores. Good luck with whatever you decide to do, obviously Im a little biased when account info is mentioned...

Gah getting the stupid staff is all luck, Ive opened maybe a few hundred things in the lvl 91 room, gaining probably 100k exp in the process, and nothing.

The lvl 91 room is gonna be adjusted... I got 15k exp there in about 2 minutes. Search everything in there and still had time leftover.

Color me stupid :) That just seems wrong and a bug, but oh well.

It takes out 10% of what you currently have in coffers. As for percentages and how many places you can put it into, as many as you want as long as it adds up to 150%, so you cant have 100% in two places, but you can have 50% in 3, or even 25% in 6. Also keep in mind you dont need to use up all 150%, you can put some to idle. Say you only want flax, put 100% to flax, 50% to idle. It will only take out 50k from the coffers to pay for the 100% workers on flax, the other 25k/50% is idle. This is a good way to save money on materials you dont really want, to get the one you do want more often. Youve saved 25k that you can then roll-over to the next day.

Green party hat would be my guess to the rarest party hat. In classic there were less greens and pinks around because people didnt keep the uglier hat, they kept the whites, yellows, and reds. Then take the hoarding of pinks by a few people, combine that with the massive dupe of pinks/blues, you end up with a lot less greens then anything else. Who cares though, value isnt determined by rarity. Its determined by market scarcity. Blues are now hoarded, and its not very often you even see one on the market. As for people being deleted with party hats, its more likely that pinks/yellows/greens were deleted with those characters, because blues/whites/reds always had a considerably higher value. If youre autoing to buy a hat, you probably bought a lower valued one. JaGex should just post the stupid numbers already, end the discussion.

Ill try going up there twice today, see if it changes every time you ask. it may take a few days for me to get a result though, since I just cashed in. With any luck Ill get an egg nest fast, and can determine how often your end result changes. Ill already go ahead and say it will change every time you look at it, not just once a day. Refer back to both barrows and treasure trails for this: Its been documented that your reward will change due to server rollbacks (I posted about this earlier here, if you want to see my explanation). I would guess that your throne reward numbers arent determined until you hit "Yes, I would like to collect my resources". Ill try to get a definite confirmation on this, but anyone who is currently testing could get an answer faster then I will. Well if it changes everytime you ask this won't be of use to get bird eggs because by the time u make space in your bank it'll have been changed :( andyways If it would only change everytime the money is taken out of the coffers it would be useful :D Checked it 5 different times today. All came up at 4 empty spaces needed. Thats interesting that it doesnt work how I expected..and completely opposite of the way everything else works...

You cant tell exactly whats there, but it can be determined by how many open spaces you need to clear in your bank. For instance, if you did maples and teak logs, there are only 7 possible results you can receive (Maple logs, teak logs, seed nests, ring nests, 3 birds egg nests), and once you have maples and teaks in your bank its down to 5. As soon as you need at least 3 spaces in your bank, you know youll get a birds egg. But keep in mind it changes from day to day, I had days were I needed 5 open spaces, and then it would go back down to 2 the next day. The way to check your kingdom is to fill your bank, so you cant bank anything then just ask to collect your resources as normal, youll be told exactly how many spaces you need to free up, and you can then determine what you have received. This can be figured out for any of the possible combinations of resources, just determine the maximum amount of different items you can receive, and go from there. Youll never be exactly sure what youll get with seeds/herbs, but you can get a pretty good idea. And like I said, with nests, those seem to change every day, so the best bet is to collect when you see you have all 3 colored eggs. Best profit potential? Id say 100% maples, 50% teaks or mahogony Easiest profit potential? 100% coal, 50% flax Coal and bowstrings are both very easy sellers. Logs and tree seeds are far weaker markets, but have much greater profit chances (not to mention all the firemaking or fletching or farming exp you could get). You should probably put 1.7-2 mill in at a time, so you can do 10 days (750k) a stretch, with a little rollover in case you dont go that 10th day. Collect that 10th day, put your kingdom to rest. Sell your goods, go back put that money in kingdom and repeat.

I have a few pics from 13 days of gathering (I collected today) that Ill try to get up, but heres the net results: 100% maples/ 50% teaks (100% approval every day) 11608 maple logs 40 ring nests: (15 normal, 18 sapphire, 2 emerald, 5 ruby) 78 seed nests: (16 acorns, 9 willows, 4 maples, 1 yew, 1 mage 1 spirit 12 apple, 12 banana, 5 orange, 9 curry, 2 pineapple, 4 papaya, 1 palm, 1 calquat) 3 birds egg nests: 2 blues, 1 green 1958 teak logs The birds eggs seemed to change from day to day, some days Id have none, other days Id have all 3 colors. Something else I found interesting: While I was opening my tree nests, eventually I got to every possible seed BUT a spirit seed. Thereafter, every nest I tried to open, it said you have no room in inventory for this item (which would mean the next nest I opened had to be a spirit seed no matter what). If the nest had contained any other seed, it shouldve stacked into its pile. After I received my spirit seed, I then could open nests again. Now Im not sure, but you may be able to force your nest to cough up a spirit seed, just by holding every other type of tree seed in your inventory. Spent: 975k Potential Selling price: lets say 2.5 mill give or take (1 mill for maples, 600k or so for teaks, 900k or so for tree seeds) Thats pricing everything for quick sales too, could easily make much more. 2.5X my initial investment for only 13 days and very little work. Coal is probably the better bet, seeing as coal is usually sellable while teak has a weak market. But with teaks you get a few extra nests into the mix. Im loving royal troubles rewards :)

I traded my drag chain for a blue party hat right after they made Queen harder to solo :D The first chain did take several hours to get though, I remember going back there several hours into update and people still thought the drag drop was scimmy. I claim the first lava staff drop though, got the drop somehow over the 60 people there, and posted on tipit within the hour. Too bad JaGex ruined lava staffs as well as chains :(

First week of members: Bought a r2hdr for herbs, then swapped it for 2 rune battles and 2 rune kites. Sold a kite for 2 squares and some other junk, then sold the other kite for enough to have my first million. I then traded one of the squares for the other half to the crystal key (I had gotten one half the very first hour of members big net fishing caskets). But the price to get drag ammys made was expensive and I couldnt afford it, not to mention the few people that were making never replied back. I then did lost city, had no need for battle, and gave them to a friend on free. Classic was tough times :( I spent most of the money I would get finishing a party hat set, with some extras for friends. The final Party hat I bought on classic was a pink hat for 200k and a dragstone ammy, which occurred right about the time when fishing guild appeared, because I made the trade in guild. I dont think I had 1 million in coins again until the first few days of rs2, when my first login I went to fire giants, got a drag spear drop and traded for 10k coal and 1 mil :D

Its NOT because of party hats, its because of santa hats, and how people were absolute jerks when they complained about the drop times.

I found something else out interesting: Ive been leaving my kingdom to gather its resourses for awhile now, but I always go back to get favor to 100% every day, and after I do that I go check my kingdom numbers. Since I have it set at 100% maples/50% teak, there are only 7 possible total variables I can receive. Since I already have maples and teaks in my bank, that knocks it down to 5. So for the last week or so I had the tree seed nests, and the ring nests, meaning I needed 2 spaces in my bank. Then one day it jumped to three, meaning I got an egg of some sort. A few days later it went up to 4, BUT the next day it went back down to 3. Now what happened there??? Maybe the color of egg isnt decided until you pick it up, which makes absolutely zero sense. Although it does seem to follow in line with everything the drop system in other areas shows. Barrows drops arent determined when you kill the brother, but when you open the chest. Treasure trails work the same way: Treasure chest---> another clue/end of trail, its not pre-determined in the beginning of the trail how long it will go. I wonder if the nests change as well, or the actual items contained in the nests. I guess what Im saying is, if you need 5 empty bank spaces when you choose maples/rare wood, doesnt matter the percentages, go ahead and collect right away. EDIT: tonight I go check in, and Im back up to 4 spaces...think I was right, what you get does change from day to day. EDIT2: Yup its definite, items change from day to day. Im now back down to 3 empty spaces needed.

JaGex also said they could detect the fake hats, and anyone caught having one would be banned ;) They made a statement saying you should drop any hats that you received during the day of the dupe in an empty area.... :lol: JaGex is about as trustworthy as an American president :D

More like 90%... Although, Jagex made a statement several months ago that there were less party hats in circulation now then before the dupe, so take that for what is worth. Also, some of the duped crackers wont give a party hat. Of course youll never know its duped or not until you actually crack it, so its as safe a buy as anything really.

Go play Puzzle Pirates... seriously all that stuff is already done in another game :P

You're the "noob" for saying you cut 3k oak an hour :P Thats almost one every second... Even at 99 woodcut you might get 1k an hour or so tops. Thats as a member in seers where 4 oak trees are 5 seconds from bank. One and a half minute runs to full inventory and back. 40 trips + randoms/ nests/seeds/rings/eggs= about 1k actual logs/hr Lying FTW!
