Wii games.

Featured Replies

Okay I felt this belong here, I'm getting a Wii soon, what games do you all reccomend(sp?)?

Well, are you a hardcore gamer or pretty casual?

If the former, Twilight Princess is obviously a must. If the latter, WarioWare and Wii Play are supposed to be pretty good.

I would suggest getting Twilight Princess and Wario Ware.

Yeah umm, I'm only 15, can't legally drink, anyway seems like I'm gonna get TLoZ:TP, as it seems the better game for me. I like a challange which is why I haven't completed FFX yet.

Call of Duty 3 is popularr among the FPS-types 8-)

Get Warioware, Twlight Princess, and Supermonkeyball Banablitz. Get an extra controller with Wii Play as well. :)

When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

Zelda is the one id recomend but if you wait Sonic and the secret rings + Brawl are gonna be awesome

Get excite truck. That game is very fun, yet will take a long time to completely beat. I also agree that Twilight princess is a must. There are tons of games that are coming out soon that will probably be good, like mp3:corruption, ssb brawl, sonic secret rings, the sequel to path of radiance, etc.

HEY, watch it! I just started replaying FFX...it's not all that easy. I mean, of course since i've played it before, it's easier...but it's still alot of fun. Espescially since I started it on Friday, i played all day Sat. and Sunday (besides church), all day today since we had a snow day, and tomorrow we also have off. It's awesome.

Anyways, I have TP, and...uhh...all i can say is WOW. It's an amazing game, and everyone that has a Wii needs it imo. Other than that, Rayman Raving Rabbids is a very fun game, I haven't played WarioWare yet, but that's probably a good one...but, there are good games coming out later, most notably SSB:Brawl.

"El que no arriesga no gana"

ive heard excite truck is good from my 50 something teacher she says she the best in her family in it lol

I reccomend Twilight Princess, Need for Speed Carbon, and Call of Duty 3.

Although...I'd also reccomend these games that are coming out for the Wii in the future, just in case you have B-day money or spare money:

Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Soul Calibur 4  (YA!)

Super Smash Bro's: Brawl

Mario Party 8

The Godfather: Blackhand Edition (YES!)

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Beareers (OMG :D )

James Bond: 007 (Again, OMG)

Prince of Persia: Rival Swords (TWO MORE OMG \:D/ )

Scarface (FINALLY, "Say hello to my little friend!" Using the Wii remote!)

All of these games listed above are OMG awesome. I reccomend them all when they are released. I'm getting them all! YA!

Hoping to get a new Signature (with matching avatar) soon. :D

I'd recommend the first two, but I have Super Monkey Ball and it's just a terrible game in my opinion. There are a lot of multiplayer games, but 90% of them are really bad and seem quickly put together. I honestly don't think movement should have been done with the wiimote in this game, for the single player mode. That or they just didn't refine it enough, or maybe I'm just not good at the game. Everyone I know who bought it didn't like it though, for the control reasons. Every minute I just frustratingly think, "WHY CAN'T I JUST USE A JOYSTICK! I WOULDN'T FALL EVERY TIME ON THIS SIMPLE TURN IF I HAD A JOYSTICK!" I had so much more room control-wise to maneuver around in the older versions. I mean you can't even stay still. I'm not saying it's hard to stay still. I'm saying it's impossible. If you have to wait for a door to open, you have to wiggle around with the camera flying in all directions with you reorienting your remote based on the camera just to not die in the chaos that is trying to stay still and not fall off while waiting for a door to open.

Wheeeeeew. Glad I got that out of my system. :)

I played the N64 super money ball a few years back and I remember haveing the exact same reaction as you. I hated it (possibly because I was bad) and quit playing. It seems like with SMB it's either a love or hate relationship.

If you ask me the Wii has a very weak current and future library, only worthwhile game is Zelda, and as a fan of FPS and hardcore gaming, its not impressive

The world would be a whole lot better if little green men in UFO's came down to earth to abduct rednecks.

Hey, buddy, how 'bout searching IGN, or looking at the list of games that I put up, that are coming out for it in the future? Maybe that will help. And don't get me started about that poor excuse for a library that X-Box has, lol. PS3 is horrid, too. Now look at the list I put up. That's only a fraction of the games coming out.

Hoping to get a new Signature (with matching avatar) soon. :D

The best game right now for the Wii is Wii Sports. My friends and I have never had this much fun playing a video game as we did playing tennis tournaments against each other. We've played a lot of games also.

No, that's the thing though. I played a few of the games on the gamecube and was able to maneuver very precisely, and that was what was fun about it. I'm just annoyed that I've lost so much control from the previous games.

Not exactly...True. TP is the best game out for the Wii so far. Unless you mean best multiplayer game, then no also. That would be Redsteel, especially the sword fights you can do! Although, Wii sports is a very, very fun game, and when in multiplayer, it would tie Redsteel. My Mii in Wii sports is a pro in almost everything (Baseball is my weakness right now). Some of my friends say "Horrid Animation," which angers me. Most kids in this generation are too obsessed with graphics like Oblivion, that they don't even want to play a game like Wii sports, or an old SNES game. These reasons are why Wii dominates the PS3 and the X-Box:

1) PS3 has great graphics, too many bugs. To me, PS3 is a sorry excuse for a PS2 with better graphics.

2) Anyone own an X-Box? OMG, fixing these things is like fixing a dell. They work, then break. Work, and break. Too many bugs, also.

3) Both of these systems...Have a sorry excuse for a library. I'm talking about games specifically made for the system. Halo's 1-3 are the only things individual for the X-Box, and Oblivion. PS3 (Might) have KH3, but it has competition: Wii.

These reasons are why Wii dominates, and is probably one of the best systems for a long, long time.

The current isn't great, but I didn't expect it to be. The future, IMO looks promising.

I can't deny that an FPS fan would be lacking with a Wii (although COD 3 is great fun), but to be honest, I think FPS works best on a PC, so I'd have no interest in getting one for any console.
