Benoit4whc
And the best part about this guide is, you don't have to be a high level to do it!! I know there are already countless barrows guides out there, and a lot of you will think this is probably just another copycat cruddy guide. But I think that lower levels will benefit from this a lot. My story: I personally have loved barrows since the first time I did it. (I died  ) I could defeat them all easily, except for the pesky Ahrim. Why couldn't I beat him? Because I do not like range much at all, and when I started barrows, it was at a measly 40. So it would take me nearly 5 minutes, using up about 40 addy arrows that broke, and a few prayer pots. Then finally I found a way to defeat him, without having to use range. This is what this guide is about. Recommended Stats: 60+ Attack 60+ Strength 60+ Defense 50+ Magic (should be higher if not 55 slayer and slayer dart) 1+ Range :-w 50+ Prayer Recommended Inventory and Equipped: Inventory: Air Staff (or slayer staff) Super Strength Potion (1 should do) Prayer Potions (amount could vary greatly) Spade (can't do barrows without it) 500 blood runes (or runes or your choosing) Teleport Runes (mine are for Varrock) Mage Robes (any kind, just saw these in bank) Food (best kind you have) Equipped: Full rune (I don't have helm cause I always wear Santa) Best weapon you can use (D long for me) Best ammy you have (wouldn't risk something too expensive) Ring of life (don't have one cause it didn't work when i used it last) Good cape (recommended fire or 99 cape) Arrows if you want (mine just happen to be there) Boots and gloves (whatever you want) Now for the fun stuff! How to fight the brothers and win! Once you get to barrows, (see tip.it guide if you don't know how to get there) I would go directly to Ahrim's crypt. This way you start with full prayer, and you won't waste as many prayer potions. Once in the crypt, drink a dose of Super Strength, put protect from mage on, and open his crypt. Hopefully you won't get him as a tunnel. If so, go through the rest of the brothers, and you'll just have to use more prayer potions when you fight Ahrim. If he pops out, just fight him melee. When I did this at 60 strength, I used 3 doses of Super Strength. You should kill him farily easily. After Ahrim is dead, I usually go to Karil's crypt next. Make sure you use protect from range, or his bolts will rip you apart. Fight him with Air Wave or the highest spell you can use. You should be able to kill him quite easily. Just make sure you keep an eye on your prayer, as it gets drained in the crypts. After Karil's, I would go to Verac's next, as he hits through prayer and defense bonuses. I believe he is more dangerous than Dharok. Go into Verac's crypt, turn protect from melee on, (it does make a difference even though he can hit through it) and blast him with your spell like you did to Karil. This shouldn't cause you any problems. Next go to Dharok. The biggest thing here is making sure that you don't run out of prayer, because he hits HARD when his health is low. So basically the same as Verac, just go into the crypt, protect from melee and mage away. Guthan is next. He is not very hard at all. Just like the other melee brothers, just go down, protect from melee, and mage him. Finally, Torag. Easiest brother. You could probably kill him without prayer and just a couple pieces of food. But I would still recommend using protect from melee as you mage his posterior region off. Once you get into the tunnel, keep opening the same door until you get the brother you must face. Kill him using the above tactics, as they work in the tunnel too. Then get your kill count to your lucky number and find the chest. If you used bloods or deaths, there is a good chance you'll get them back. If you get a barrows item, I don't like you because I still haven't got one. :P If you took the time to read this guide, please reply with your thoughts and suggestions you have to change it. Hope this helps you low levelled rangers destroy the barrows! 8,539th to 99 cooking!!! Achieved January 17, 2007, one day before I turned 16! Captainkidd
This is still like all the other barrows guides like 1/4 as good, this guide only tells you to put of your def aromor for the tunnels and weapon for the tunnels also and kill Ahrims, still like the others. Cause its more like a tip on how to kill him with out range, not a guide :notalk:
Elessar3019
Not the best guide I've seen, because there are already too many barrows guides. Keep trying! perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is anotherAMEN!
anantipure
Trying to be nice today.... Much room for improvement. I've known (and I believe everyone else) that you can easily melee ahrim, and if you're a high level, without pots.

Owned_Nex
Definitly not AOW, this is an ok guide, on the bad side. Its better to use slayer dart. I know you said this, but are you sure you went to Barrows, im not sure how a first timer would use this guide, since its mostly bad advice. And yes, i been to barrrows over 500 times. Thses ar some thing I KNOW as a fact must be changed. 1.ALWAYS do Dhorok first. There is no way to kill him without prayer unless you use ice spells. 2.I would rather use bronze arrows then a whip on Ahrim. He is like a Tank. 3.WTF is w/ d long? Dungeoneering isn't a skill. I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden. PM me if you want to chat. My PM is always off. My keyboard is on fire. Want some?

hellbellz
There are loads of guides already. This isn't good, you use a lot of Prayer Pots, and apparently, that's not good armor at all really for barrows. :|
mchainmail
try and cut down on the ppot consumption. I can do it using 2 doses at the MOST, and that is only when I get karil in the tunnel.
