February 7, 200719 yr I got 90 slayer a long time back and used a cannon on them in their stronghold up north...oh and not the death place either. ST=2015+
February 7, 200719 yr Author You can cannon the Death Plateau Trolls. From my guide. Trolls- Many people dislike these monsters. I used to love killing the Troll General before they changed his respawn rate to slow it down. Since then I found an awesome spot on the death plateau of Buthorpe for you to use a cannon. In the photo you see the cannon. It is actually kind of hard to set it up there, try a few time and you will get it down. Then you can load it up and let it rip. No trolls will be able to hit you so your cannon will act as though you are in a Multi Attack area unloading on all of the trolls in the area. If you position yourself where my character is you will be able to engage Rock and Stick who drop Granite Shields. The other red dot is a safe spot where you can go if a small troll seems to invade your area. Using this spot which I found on accident makes trolls one of the better experience assignments for you if you have a cannon on your way to 85 Slayer or beyond if you want fast experience. i know about that spot, but seeng that it is a big-seized safespot in this cave i though that it would be better (together with more trolls) but anyway, you can't set up cannons in the cave, and i think that it would be hard to set up outside, but still, i believe that there is more trolls in that area than i death plateau (don't know about cannoning though)
February 7, 200719 yr The spot on Death Plateau is not practical if you're below level 70 ranged. I hit a lot of 0s, at least when I did it, and the drops won't even come close to matching the cost of the cannonballs (dagannoths usually drop enough herb seeds that you can break even if you grow them). I think that even level 70 might be too low, but I'm not sure at what point you start hitting consistently. The yaks seem quite good for training, though. Unlike Rock Crabs, you don't need to move when fighting them- they keep coming to you. They're also easier to get to than bandits and far less likely to do significant damage. They're got quite a bit of hp for their level as well.

Here ya go, I'll plop it down in there for ye. ~Lunar This is a bug or suggestion because?... :-s :? Atestarossa is not suggesting an idea for the game, but a way of playing the game, so this is not the correct forum for that reason. Its not a bug, because its not a coding error, so please explain the move. Why is 'common sense' so named, when there is so little of it about?Welcome to puberty, we've been expecting you.
February 7, 200719 yr Oh, I see now what he's talking about. I misread the post and thought he was suggesting a new quest with these things. I assume he is talking about the new Fremenik Isle quest? If so, that's just a misreading on my part. I have no powers in this forum, so we'll have to wait for another mod to move it. Sorry for the misunderstanding! ~Lunar Retired Tip.It Mod || Admin and Founder of Caesar 3 Mod Squad! All are welcome!

If only governments were run by guys like that. Why is 'common sense' so named, when there is so little of it about?Welcome to puberty, we've been expecting you.

February 8, 200719 yr Author well... thank you for moving my post back to p2p... anyways, as you can't cannon in the cave, would it work outside, i'm not shure about that non-xp thing, and if you get xp, then it would probably be better than the death plateu to train slayer on =)
February 8, 200719 yr Now i haven't done the quest but a friend of mine did and he said that he can't get back into the cave. Maybe he did something wrong, i don't know. Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant: "If I live, I will kill you, If I Die, you are forgiven." Such is the Rule of Honor.
February 8, 200719 yr I think I'll pass on that cave and stick to the plateau. Either I had a pretty bad day, or those ice trolls are plain mean. They beat me up pretty good... I had to tele out three times. They're not a very nice bunch of trolls, no they're not. Lots of level 90s and up were getting owned when I was there as well. But there's probably a way to cannon 'em outside the cave...
