February 15, 200719 yr The Barbarian Assault minigame has received a small update today. Those who have been successfully defeating the vile Penance creatures will be pleased to hear that Commander Connad is now offering even greater rewards than before for anyone who feels brave enough to risk their points in his high-level gamble. Can anyone confirm if the rewards are GREATER? As in better then dragon chain? I think the above is a little misleading otherwise, but i'm just interested to know if anyone has gotten anything better. P.S- I dont know how to quote it at the top ;) Currently: Quit Ages Ago

On topic ~ I remember seeing a RSOF quote about it just being more fair on the lower-style rewards(Teak planks, Blood runes etc etc)

February 16, 200719 yr Leaving this open for the time being, as the discussion here is a bit different than the posted link. The other is for listing what people get, to offer a guide to the possible rewards. This one seems to just be asking if it's any better now. February 17, 200719 yr I'd say the change on the gamble rewards the change is mostly that the low end rewards on the high end gamble are more generous. People had commented they were a bit stingy before. 15-16-519-39197428 is the quicklink.
February 17, 200719 yr It's still going to suck just as much. They probably didn't do anything, and are just saying that to psychologically make players think that the rewards are better. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
