now its got to the point where melle over rules ranged what should i do get 45 defence or get 99 range with 1 defence 76 combat 85 hp and get str up to combine str and ranged?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My mate took 3 pures in a row on won them all because he was a ranger with 91 range 45 def and i jus get 2 hit off dds'

why dont you try barraging or bursting someone then ranging or dds specing them. get 85 str for the dds route.

nah, don't listen to the other guy if you wanna stay a range pure. Instead get 99 range, then get 60-70 (70 and where a torags helm). OR if you just wanna win alot staking then get 99 range, then leave defense at 1 and get 95+ hp.

Make rune pure, by getting barrows gloves. They give such a big bonus. Or then make staker with 80+ def. \

Get def up to at least 40 (Use only quests for this). Then get 99 range. Then get your def up more.

In members, I don't think any serious ranger can turn down the defence and attack bonuses that come from full black dragonhide, with body. The attack bonus comes close to paying back the extra combat levels from defence.

I would do Dragon Slayer and Fremminik Trials, then get 45 defence. Then try for 99 range and 99 hit points. Here is a good range set up:

Problem with 99 range range pures is, 99 strength rune pures own them :wall:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'd do a mage/range combo and stick with 1 defence.

 

 

 

That way you can still kill some regular pures, and non-pure players.
